"Truth." Cade responds.
The attention I was giving him surprised me when I realised it. Daya throws her question to him, but I didn't hear it because of Ophelia's whispered interjection beside me.
"So did anything happen in the closet? Give me the dets." Sparkles of interest shines in her eyes.
I raise a brow at her. "You want me to give you details of me and your crush being in a room for seven whole minutes?" She nods accordingly, being unbothered by my question.
I still stare at her before breathing out. "Nothing happened."
She tilts her head with a slightly confused expression. "Really?"
"Yeah. Or did you want something to happen?" I laugh lightly, although I'm being serious.
"Of course not." She looks at Cade then back at me.
"Did he say anything about me?" Her eyes move to him again. She's already licking his face with her eyes at this point.
"Like how you were being so shameless about your sudden hunger for him by clinging to his side?" I ask matter-of-factly and she laughs.
"Was it that obvious?" She questions and I nod. "Yeah it was. Someone could tell from a mile away."
She parts her lips to speak again but someone calling Ian's name loudly, along with fast footsteps approaching the room stops her.
"Ian!" Ian shoots up from the floor in panic. A guy comes running into the room, panting hardly like he just ran a marathon race.
"What?" Ian questions, clearly angered by the blonde haired boy.
"Someone just broke your Dad's glass vase." The boy spoke through hard pants. The distance wasn't even that far.
"Jesus Chris! Is that why you're screaming my name like a fucking psychopath?" Ian snaps, walking out of the room and Chris follows behind.
"And you seriously need to do some cardio." Their steps reside downstairs.
My eyes catches April and Dylan talking about something when I look back into the room.
"Lia." She gives me her attention.
"Yeah."
"I think you should really talk to April and fix the problem you guys have. It's getting really uncomfortable for everyone." Her expression flattens before a thinking face emerges, then she nods.
"Yeah. I'll try. Let's just hope she doesn't bite my head off first." We both laugh at that. She stands up, then makes her way to April.
"Hey April." She looks up at Ophelia, who stands ahead of her.
