⁂⁂⁂
The first thing I do once I get into my room is to put my phone on charge. I pull off my shirt, leaving my upper body bare. I blow out an exhausted breath and flop down onto my bed.
Today has taken a toll on me and I didn't even realize it until now. Or maybe it was because I was with Freya and I didn't feel it.
After spending an hour plus with my Uncle, Aunt Lu and Zayn, I eventually escaped to the comfort of my bedroom.
My hand mindlessly finds the necklace sitting around my neck. My thoughts didn't wander far, causing my hand to find my phone on the nightstand like an instinct.
Before I could attempt to call Freya, my bedroom's door burst open, making me flinch from shock.
"Incoming!" Zayn yells and before I could comprehend what's happening, he lands on me with a heavy thud.
We both let out audible groans from the painful impact of our bodies colliding.
"Fuck my ribs hurt." I cuss out and Zayn laughs at me.
"I think I might've broken my sacrum." It was Zayn'a turn to complain and it took a few seconds, before I burst into an helpless laugh.
"Do you even know where your sacrum is?" I ask and he shrugs with a smile planted on his face. He clearly doesn't know.
Zayn gives me a little space, but his eyes stays stationed on my bare chest.
"Nice necklace." He compliments and I glance down onto the gold chain dangling around my neck.
"I've never seen it before. Is it new?" He ask and I lay back against the headboard.
"Yeah." I blow out.
I watch as Zayn's face switches up into a bit of confusion. "What happened on the fourteenth of August?" Zayn questions, still scrutinizing my necklace.
"Something life changing." I don't how or why a grin builds itself up across the edges of my lips, but it does and I don't try to stop it.
I know Freya is not ready to let people know we are together. She cares about everyone so much and she doesn't wanna hurt Ophelia or Zayn with the truth.
But I on the hand....I'm more than ready to stand on top of the highest building or mountain and scream from my heart that I'm in love with Freya. Let everyone know that she is mine and I am hers.
