When Ophelia and Hermione walked into the Gryffindor common room with their things the boys were already there hanging out. Harry looked up from the book he was reading.
"You're back," He said smiling warmly at them, "Did you guys have fun?"
Hermione nodded enthusiastically, "Oh very much so!"
Fred wandered over and was trying to peak into Ophelia's bags. She slapped his hand away and Ron and George laughed.
"Ow," Fred said rubbing his hand, "What was that for?"
"Sorry Fred, but no peaking," Ophelia giggled, "You'll have to wait for the big reveal just like everyone else!"
He pouted and gave her puppy eyes, "Not even just a teeny tiny little glance?"
She shook her head, "Nope!"
He huffed and sat down next to George, putting his head on his brother's shoulder.
"Do you see how mean she is to me Georgie? Not an ounce of sympathy."
Hermione rolled her eyes, pulling Ophelia towards their dorms.
"You'll live Fred," Hermione called back over her shoulder.
The girls ran to their room to put their things away. Making sure to hide them in a spot where the boys wouldn't find them if they decided to go snooping. They hurried back down and walked with the boys to the dining hall for dinner.
"I'm absolutely exhausted," Ophelia said trying to cover a yawn.
Hermione nodded, "Me too, I can't wait to climb into my bed."
"Those pillows never looked so seductive," Ophelia giggled.
"Who looks seductive?"
They turned around to find Cedric standing their looking rather confused. Hermione laughed at his expression.
"Ophelia and I were just saying how tired we were and how we couldn't wait to go to bed."
"Ahhhh," He said still visibly confused.
Ophelia giggled, "I'll explain later Ced. Right now I just want to get some food and crawl into bed."
Cedric smiled at her and nodded understandingly, "You two picked out your dresses for the ball then I'm assuming."
Hermione nodded as they walked into the dinning hall, "Oh just wait till you see it! Ophelia found the most gorgeous dress!"
"Hermione," Ophelia said nudging her.
"Can't wait then. I'm sure you'll look stunning," Cedric said simply smiling down at her and winking before joining his friends at his table.
Ophelia just shook her head as Hermione laughed and they sat down with the boys. She could feel her eyelids drooping and she was so grateful when dinner was over and they were heading back to their dorms. The girls said goodnight to the boys in the common room before heading to bed.
"Thank you for today Ophelia," Hermione said as she climbed into bed, "I really enjoyed myself today."
"I'm so glad you agreed to go with me!"
Hermine snuggled down into the covers, yawning and saying sleepily, "Ophelia, you know something? I'm really glad we're friends!"
Ophelia smiled and hugged her pillow to her, "I am too!"

Ophelia woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, and a scream caught in her throat. She had just had the most horrible dream imaginable. She had been standing in an open field watching helplessly as her parents were being dragged and tied to a big wooden pole. She tried to scream but no sound came out, she tried to move but her feet were glued to the ground. She watched in horror as they were engulfed in flames as tears ran down her face.
