Ophelia woke up ridiculously early the next morning by the sound of Draco's alarm. She was still snuggled in his arms and she groaned burying her head in his chest. Draco quickly switched off the alarm and kissed the top of her head.
"Sorry Darling, I forgot about that" He murmured into her hair apologetically.
Ophelia yawned, sat up and stretched. She looked over at the alarm clock.
"Merlin Draco! Do you always get up at 6am? No wonder you're always moody," Ophelia said teasingly.
Draco frowned and sat up in bed, "I am not moody!"
She giggled and started to climb out of bed. His frowned deepened.
"Where are you going?"
"Back to my dorm," She responded.
"Can't you stay just a little longer?"
He didn't want to admit it to himself or to her. But when she was gone he missed her presence. She made him feel less alone. Like he had a purpose and he belonged. He hated the emptiness and the loneliness he felt whenever she wasn't there. It was as if whenever she was around she chased away all of his darkness, emptiness, and demons, simply with her smile and the sound of her laugh. She made him feel complete. And she was the only person in the whole world who ever made him feel that way.
"I wish I could but Hermione will freak out if she wakes up and I'm not there," Ophelia said giving him a small smile.
Draco sighed deeply and climbed out of bed. He rummaged through his drawers for a shirt. When he turned back to her Ophelia was looking at him curiously. He rolled his eyes.
"You really didn't think I was going to let you walk back by yourself did you?"
She smiled softly and sat back down on the bed to wait for him. She tried not to stare at him unsuccessfully as he put his shirt on and started buttoning it up. He looked up, caught her and smirked as she blushed and looked away.
Draco chuckled, "Enjoying the view love?"
Ophelia blushed and grabbed a pillow from off the bed and threw it at him. He just laughed and leaned over her, his face just inches from hers. He leaned closer to kiss her but she quickly put her fingers over his lips. Draco scowled and moved her hand away.
"Why'd you do that," He asked.
"Draco, morning breath."
He scoffed, "Fuck that! I want my damn kiss!"
He grabbed her face and pulled her to him kissing her lips. He pulled away and smiled smugly. She just laughed and rolled her eyes as he took her hand and pulled her to her feet. They walked back to the Gryffindor common room hand in hand whispering quietly to each other. When they reached the entrance to the common room they stopped and Draco started to play with a strand of her hair. He looked down at her affectionately.
"Meet me tonight in the astronomy tower after dance classes?"
She nodded and he squeezed her hand and planted a soft kiss on her forehead before turning to go. Ophelia slipped silently into the common room and tip toed to her room. Hermione was thankful still asleep and Ophelia climbed back into bed and snuggled down, deciding to get a little more sleep before breakfast.

The Gryffindors were standing in a classroom as they listened to Professor McGonagall. It was there last dance lesson before the ball on Saturday.
"Since this is going to be our last class before the ball we are going to practice all the dances I have taught you thus far," Professor McGonagall was saying, "There will be no lessons tomorrow and you will have the day finish up any preparations that you might have left. So without further ado, let's begin shall we?"
