GWEN STACY died almost three years ago. Her closest friends, Rory Morais and Peter Parker grieved her everyday, but that didn't stop them from living.
Of course, as the years grew longer, both vigilantes had stopped pulling their punches, they had killed many people. Bad people, but still people. They pushed that guilt away, trying their best to continue being the friendly neighborhood vigilantes.
One day, as Rory and Peter made their rounds over the city, Rory seemed to disappear, one atom at a time. Peter was frantic. He went from the roof they sat on to her home, but when he got there, Manny was home alone. Peter promised he'd find his daughter safe, but when he left, he too began to disappear.
Finding himself in New York, something felt different. This wasn't his New York. Something was wrong. But he didn't care about that. He cared about finding partner in crime and take her home safe.
