Blitzo gave a breath of relief when he was finally allowed to leave that nauseating talk show. That was one of the many problems with his line of work, he had to cover up his employer's tracks. Keep things smooth and calm with the public. And worst of all, he has to deal with people like Katie Killjoy. Damn it, he couldn't stand the woman.

When he was outside the studio he phoned for his ride which took him through a dark tunnel where he switched vehicles in order to fool anyone trying to follow him. After that he was once again brought before the gates of the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. He then punched his key code and was granted access inside and greeted by his boss Solomon Karras.

Solomon had aged very much so in the last fifteen years. He was fifty-three now, his face was showing some lines, and his audburn had turned completely grey. An incident regarding an especially barbaric troll had cased his left foot to be crippled and now he walked with a cane but he still remained ever tall, strong, and confident. He refused to let age make him feel inferior though he tended to get a little testy whenever Blitzo would occasionally complain about almost turning forty.

"I saw the broadcast this morning Blitzo." Solomon told him. "Excellent work with keeping our secret."

"Sure thing boss but I'm getting a little sick of this. Every time the media gets a look at them they come running to me. I'm running out of lies."

"Hey you're the one with the dream of being famous right?"

"I dreamed of being musically famous. Not a shield from geeks."

"They're trying their best to stay hidden Blitzo. You know that."

"Well two of them are. One of them keeps sneaking out and I think you know which one."

"I do." He sighed. "But I told you he's been grounded."

"The man is twenty-five years old. He shouldn't need to be grounded. Why can't he grow up?"

"Excuse me?" He said with a raised eyebrow. "You're really going to give lectures about maturity and growing up? You who will steal my car to drive off to a succubi concert and actually bring one home for a one night stand?"

"To be fair I was drunk and I thought she was human. She looked human.

"Of course she did! Succubi disguise themselves as human women! That's how they lure in their prey,  you idiot! That's what irritates me about you."

"What? That I slept with a succubi?"

"No that you'll always criticize my children for their recklessness and immaturity when you are just the same minus the different species. Now go dismiss them from their training, I have to check the radar."

Blitzo huffed in frustration and reluctantly went down to the third to last corridor where there were several doors to several rooms. He entered the first one which was a gym that was being occupied by two unusual figures. The first being an individual who was doing various forward and back flips on a beam. A fellow with a slender build, a mop of white hair, skin bearing white-pink striped fur, more than one set of arms and legs. Despite his spider-like appearance he was quite attractive and those who looked past his abnormalities could see that. Training alongside him was an equally attractive but equally odd-looking, svelte, female who's hair was also white but long and straight, who's skin was a muted lavender, and who's back sported a pair of large, grey, moth wings. She was up in the air, flying through giant hoops that hung from the ceiling.

"Yo! Bug people!" Blitzo called. "Boss man says training is over for the day."

"Finally." The spider-like gentleman said doing a perfect back flip off the beam and landing on his feet. "By the way don't call us bug people. We have names you know. It's Angel and Vaggie, remember?"
