"So let me get this straight." Angel recapped upon hearing Alastor's explanation. "Moxxie made some weird drug that can actually make us look like humans?"

"It's not a drug, but in a nutshell, yes." Alastor confirmed.

"And it actually works?"

"Well why else would I look like this?"

"Okay but if it works then why hasn't he given it to us?"

"The effects are temporary and there's telling when they'll wear off. He thought it would be too risky to send us out into the world with it until he could fix the timing."

"But obviously you disagree otherwise you wouldn't have swiped it."

"Well if it wears off on me, all I have to do is just blend in with the shadows and I'll be completely unseen. I'm barely at any risk. Still, I don't want you to tell anyone about this. You know how they all like to worry."

"Relax Smiles, you know I'm no snitch. But what exactly are you going to do with this kind of power?"

"I think that maybe the time has come for me to visit Charlie at her work and see what it's like to have lunch at a regular diner."

"But won't the other agents notice that you're gone?"

"Doubtful, with Solomon recovering in the medical facility, Blitzo sleeping off one of the worst hangovers of his life, and poor Vaggie needing time to recover and face her past trauma, I highly doubt that I'll be on anyone's radar."

"In that case, give me a swig of that stuff. I wanna go with you."

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because you're too reckless. You can't help drawing attention to yourself, remember what happened at the bar at the troll market? You exposed us."

"This time will be different. I won't be in just a wig and a dress that can easily be ripped off. I'll be transformed, in a way. Completely unrecognizable."

"No."

"Oh come on! That's not fair! Why do you get to go out and have fun, while I have to stay here?"

"Sorry Angel, but that's just the way it is." Alastor said, checking his reflection in a mirror again. "And don't even think about ratting me out, cause if you do, I'll tell everyone about those erotic dreams of yours."

Angel pouted at Alastor like a petty child who didn't get his way. Alastor was always sneaking out, getting a chance to really see the word while he would have to stay behind. Oh Angel had tried to sneak out several times but he couldn't blend in with shadows and the dark. He was too easy to spot. It was so frustrating that he and Alastor were in the same circumstances but he had found a loophole. Or had he?

Alastor only ever sneaked out when they were on a job. He had never tried to sneak out of the bureau because there were too many cameras and alarms, He would be caught in just five seconds. Angel on the other hand, wouldn't be so easy to catch because recently he had learned a new tactic that might make slipping out of the bureau much easier.

"You know." He smiled, deviously. "Apart from our bedrooms and bathrooms, there are cameras everywhere. We're under constant surveillance. If you try to sneak out they'll see you. So how are you going to pull that off?"

Alastor paused.

"Hmm...It appears that in my eagerness, I failed to consider all obstacles. Perhaps I should postpone this attempt for another time."

"Oh yeah? Well what if I told you that I might be able to take care of that little issue?"

"I'm listening."
