When it was after midnight and his "children" had still not returned from their investigation, Solomon knew something ha gone wrong. Or rather he knew that they had gotten themselves into trouble. So he sent Blitzo, Moxxie, and Millie to go down into the troll market and find them. Having them bring along extra weapons and first aid equipment. It didn't take long for them to figure out where they were, they only needed to follow the trail of brimstone and charred remains.

"What in the world happened here?" Millie wondered out loud.

"By the looks of it, I'd say either the troll market had one hell of a party or poor Charlie had another break down." Moxxie said.

"Let's pray for the former, because if it's the latter then there's a good chance only one of those four hellions are still alive." Blitzo said.

"Well not quite." Moxxie said. "I mean yes, if Angel and Vaggie were ever exposed to such an extreme amount of supernatural fire they would be gone in a flash, but I have a theory that Alastor may be fire retardant."

"What gives you that theory dear?" Millie asked.

"Well for one thing, when Charlie had her first break down, Alastor was right next to her and he wasn't burned. Not even his hair. Then there's the fact that Beelzebub was created in Hell's core, literally the hottest and most scorching area in the universe. Hotter than the earth's core. And since Alastor pretty much takes after him in regards to physical build and outer appearance, he may be immune to any form of heat damage."

"Have you ever tested that theory?" Blitzo asked.

"No because to test it I'd have to set him on fire and what if I was wrong?"

"Well I hope you're right sweetie." Millie said. "I hope Alastor is okay. I hope they're all okay."

Soon they came upon the club known as the Cesspool which had literally gone up in smoke. All around there was more brimstone and dead bodies that been reduced to ash or charred.

"Merciful God." Moxxie said almost speechless with horror.

"Ruthless Satan." Blitzo said in a tone that was equal to his partner's.

They had never seen so many dead bodies in their lives and having worked careers that involved a lot of body counts, this had to be especially disturbing.

"They're dead!" Millie screamed hysterically. "Oh Jesus help us, they're all dead!"

"Now don't panic!" Blitzo said. "We don't know for sure that they're dead! Keep in mind that they're all highly trained agents, so there's a chance they could have saved themselves."

"Then where are they?"

"I don't know! Start searching!"

At once the three agents started to dig through all the burned debris, ash, soot, brimstone, and dead bodies to find any trace of their charges, all the while trying to expel the terrifying what if's from their minds.

"Charlie!" Millie called.

"Alastor!" Moxxie called.

"Vaggie! Angel! Where are you?!" Blitzo called.

"Answer us please!" Millie pleaded.

"Are you dead?!" Blitzo demanded. "You better be dead! Because if you're not, I'm going to kill you!"

"Don't say that! What's the matter with you?!" Moxxie scolded.

Just when they were about to fear the worst, they spotted a giant, partially burnt, cocoon. The agents carefully approached the cocoon and Moxxie slowly ran a hand over it, studying the material with his fingers.
