I coughed some more, as I hurt my throat trying to get air so fast.
...I can't believe I almost...
...
I'll think about it later...
"Link! I'm so sorry! When you hit the wall, your sword flew onto a platform near Aryll!" Tetra noticed and quickly apologized.
"I-It's fine." I said quietly.
"But—I think I said this already—you're going to have to sneak through this place."
"I know, Tetra, leave me alone and let me focus." I ordered, sounding angry.
"O-Oh! Right! I'm sorry! Good luck!" She exclaimed as I sighed.
There wasn't much I could do.
There wasn't anything I could do.
You know what? Screw it. If I get caught, I'm done for—Probably.
So,
1. Avoid all spotlights
2. If any enemy guards, hide from them; Moblins or monsters
3. If caught, bang head against wall until I genuinely kill myself so that I don't have to feel guilty for Aryll's death
4. Don't faint. Just don't do it.
Okay, now just to find a way to hide.
Ooh! That's a nice, hollow barrel I see over there! Hm? KIND OF LIKE THE ONE THAT I JUST GOT LAUNCHED IN.
This kind of makes me mad. Like, mad mad.
Not just mad. No. Mad mad.
Well, whatever.
If I fit in the barrel, I'm shipping Aryll a package full of stupidity and fear.
Oh, hold on! That's just me!
...I doubt she'll want to see me anyway. I've never even spoken to her. It's not like she cares for me.
I wish I could express my care for her through words, but I just can't bring myself to speak. It's like...It makes me want to cry...
Now, before Tetra starts talking and won't shut up again, I need to move. And fast.
Let's see,
Those spotlights move about as fast as I can run, and if I roll, there's no way—if I time it right—that I'll get caught.Alright?
Count with me!
3!
2!
1!
0!
I dashed forward and rolled right before light coated my back.
I clung to the wall with fear as I panted. It wasn't difficult running, be my heart skipped more than half of its beats—so much so that my chest hurts.
Remember: Don't faint.
Don't do it.
Now, to get to those stairs. There's an easy path where the light doesn't shine. Easy.
I ran between the wall and light, then ran up the stairs.
I slid past the enemies and flipped over gaps.
This wasn't hard at all.
Not yet, at least.
Eventually, after something like forty-five minutes or so, I found the ledge with my sword. It was guarded by a more experienced enemy.
