(So a little change: When Link is replying to Time or one of the others in his head, it'll have apostrophes around it as to not get it confused with description text. Thanks!)
"C'mon, Link, just say one word for me. Please." Sky begged.
Hah. As if that would ever happen again. As soon as I get attached to someone, they're dead within a year.
Heck, even Spirit, who was vomiting left and right, begged me to speak. But I couldn't. I wouldn't.
He's already dying, and I don't want to speed it up.
Everyone's dead, and it's all because of me. It's all my fault. No matter how much I try to stop it, it always comes back. There's no escape.
Tetra's dead, Blue's dead, Spirit's on the brink, and Sky never came back to life. Who do I have now? Time? What's he gonna do? Hug me?!
He's a voice in my mind for cryin' out loud!
"Hey! That's rude!"
'Okay?!'
"That was also rude."
'Go away!'
Time sighed, "No. I'm not leaving you this time. Why don't you just ask Spirit for some help? Or Sky?"
'Because Spirit's dying, alright?! And Sky's weird!'
"Why's he weird?"
'Because he looks so different from me...us, I should say...'
"I would offer to help, but, the only way you can see me is as a ghost, and I'd be a golden wolf or Stalfos. It's inefficient."
Spirit began to cough and choke, so Sky helped him spit whatever he had out.
It was a blood clot. Spirit sighed with relief after he realized that a lump of whatever just came from his throat.
"Woah!" Sky exclaimed, "How'd you even breathe with that thing in there?!"
"I-I don't know...But it feels so much better to get that out." Spirit said, going to touch it, but then coiling his hand away as part of it turned to a black tar-looking goop.
"What the-?! What is that?!" Sky yelled.
"Link! Tell them to get away from it! It's gonna hurt them, so hurry it up!"
'Okay!'
"Hey, guys! Get away from that thing!" I yelled at them.
"I don't wanna be by it anyway!" Sky exclaimed, bolting off.
Spirit didn't budge. He just stared in horror.
"Spirit! I said, Move!" I yelled again.
He didn't answer. Though, just staring at it made his hands twitch to the black slime, where he touched the thing on accident.
"Help him, come on! You're better than that!"
The black goo ran up his arm and onto his head, replacing his hat.
Spirit gave a nervous smile, let alone the tone of the slight giggle he gave as well.
"It's...Not...Strangling him?"
'It's supposed to?'
"From everyone else, yes...But I guess it likes him."
'Huh.'
Spirit coughed once more, his cough being so dry he actually ended up in a pool of vomit what was a deep crimson color, much like the color of blood.
Sky ran around in panic and fear, looking for a weapon. He smashed a pot and took one of the pieces, prayed for a moment, then chucked it at the glob on top of Spirit.
