Later that day, after I woke up, Mask still refused to take his mask off.
And...While...yes, he may just be an ignorant child, still. Or maybe he doesn't want to go through that pain again.
"Oh, for the love of the gods, who's playing that music?!" Time yelled as an accordion blasted in my head, "Agh! Minish, find them and get them to stop!"
"It's coming from outside, Time." Minish said.
"If there are more boys- Oh dear Hylia... Just let them in."
"Hey, who is it?!" Minish yelled through the door.
There was no answer, at least none that I could hear.
"Just let 'em in!" Time yelled again.
"Okay, okay!" Minish responded.
When they opened the door, I heard Time yell, then the accordion stop.
"Hey, look!! I told you it would work!" A new boy exclaimed.
"Wait, wait, wait. Red?" Time asked.
"Red? No! That's just what color I wear! My name's Garnet!" The new boy exclaimed, "And these are my brothers!"
"Hey," Another boy said, his voice deeper, much like Sky's soothing tone, but with Tetra's sharp bites at the ends of words. He had a Faroain accent.
"That's Lapis. Hey, Emerald, say hi!" Garnet exclaimed.
"Hey, Link! Minish figured out a new thing where you can see us without getting knocked out, isn't that nice?" Ruby asked, while listening to his boots stomp down the stairs, "All ya gotta do is close your eyes!"
And so I closed my eyes and imagined the house.
"It worked! It worked! It worked! Minish!! You did it!" Ruby yelled, running back up the stairs with his arms flailing up and down.
"Is that...Are you who I think you could be?!" Garnet's voice yelled. He had red hair, all red clothes, and a yellow brim on his hat. He held an accordion over his belly.
"Who?" I asked.
"Hero of the Winds?!"
"What?? I'm no hero."
"Don't lie to him, Link, come on!" Tetra exclaimed, "If anything, you saved my life!"
I blushed with a smile.
"And, that's actually the title you later will take on." Time said.
"So I'm the Hero of the Winds?" I asked him.
"He's...the...Oh my gods-" Garnet fainted into a boy dressed in all green, who hopped away.
A boy dressed in all blue dove under Garnet to break his fall.
"Sorry 'bout my brother. You're his hero. He kinda maybe sorta looks up to you a lot. Like...So much so he ignored his own parents." The voice of Lapis said. Lapis wore all blue, and, just like Garnet, his hair was blue, too!
The boy who had hopped I assume is Emerald. He wore all green and had green hair, too, with a yellow brim on his hat like his brothers.
"Hey, little help over here?" Lapis asked, tapping Emerald's leather boot.
Emerald quickly picked up his foot and shook his head.
"Ah, so what. I carry you both on my shoulders anyway, so him alone shouldn't be a problem. Though he's a bit heavier than you, Emi."
