I took a nap.

It was definitely needed.

Though Medli's pacing was not.

"What am I going to do with you, Link?!" She screamed the question to herself. "You'd burn up in that heat!"

"Medli, I'll be fine."

"No you won't! You just don't get it, do you?! You just-" She sighed with a facepalm, "There's no way you can bear that heat for where we're going. It just isn't possible."

"You can fly, can't you?" I asked, thinking of a plan.

"Yeah, and what impact does it have on you?!"

"If you can fly me over-"

"Oh, that's smart! I like that! Come on, let's go!"

"Well wouldn't you know," The familiar voice of Tetra blurted out through the stone in my back pocket, "The bird lady annoyed you, didn't she?"

"Who was that, Link?!" Medli yelled at me.

For some odd reason, I felt extremely guilty.

It's not like Medli and I were dating, there's no reason for me to be guilty.

And plus, if Medli and I were to be dating at the time, I would be concerned for myself.

"Link, who is that?!"

"It's just my friend..." I mumbled, trying not to make eye contact with Medli.

"Then why don't you just go and see her, then, hm? If it's really so important to talk to your girlfriend then maybe I shouldn't help you get to the top of Dragon Roost!"

"I- She- ...N-Never mind...I don't need your help, anyway..." I got nervous at the fact that I was being yelled at, and accidentally made myself appear smaller.

"Good! I hope you burn yourself! Why don't you teach that person to keep her nose out of our conversations?!"

"Medli, is that your name?! Why don't you stop bossing Link around to the point where he can't even talk to people?! That's toxic, relationship or not, I demand you stop that right now!" Tetra hurried to defend me, "And in truth, I was calling to let him know he might never see me again! There's a leak in our ship and we might sink!"

"Wh-What?" I stuttered, uncovering my face, only to reveal to Medli that I had been crying while Tetra was arguing.

"Link...If you could listen, maybe for the last time, I have something to say." Tetra said.

I got butterflies in my stomach from that sentence. Something like that always made me nervous.

"Let's just say...I see you the same way as we were joking around the other day, if you understand."

I formed a huge smile on my face by accident and jumped to latch and jump off the wall.

That's just what I do when I get excited.

"And if I don't ever get to see you again, I just hope Medli could leave you alone, first of all, and second; I just wanted to tell you that your boat has something for you from me. He won't give it to you yet, but just wait."

Medli gave me some time alone for once.

To...process.

Probably.

And, on top of that, I hadn't gotten a call from Tetra in a while, which stressed me out and made me really nervous.
