LILLY POV
The knocking on my door woke me up quickly, "Lilly get up, lets go."
"Right now?" I rolled over, "they can't come out in the sun."
"We're training," Cyprus explained, "come on. Meet out in the woods in ten." I heard him walk away and I stretched out. I sat up slowly and then stood, walking to the bathroom to do my business, brush my teeth and hair. Afterwards I grabbed a pair of leggings and a jacket, it's cold, freezing actually, well below 32 degrees, 12 to be exact.
I walked out and grabbed an apple and a water, chugging and eating quickly before running outside. Of course I was the last one to walk up.
"Nice of you to join us," Cade poked.
"Yeah Lilly it's just training," Fen looked at me, "why'd you get all dressed up."
"Shut up," I sneered, "pay attention."
Cyprus and Aelia were standing in front of us, Cy walked up, "okay, we're taking back our home today but we need to be ready. There's a lot of vampires out there and there could be more that we don't know about yet. Lilly and Aelia, both of you are our witches tonight."
"What?" I asked, "Why-"
"You are strongest when using magic," he shook his head, "it's not an insult, you're the strongest one here when it comes to magic."
"Eh I don't know about that," Aelia chuckled. I couldn't help but laugh with her.. everyone knows I am.
"Cade you're a wolf with me," Cyprus nodded, "and Fen, well you can really pick what you want. I'd prefer you be a wolf like me but if you're more comfortable-"
"I'll be the vampire," he nodded, "we'll have variety in here." I started to laugh as did the others but only for a few seconds before we had to get serious again. Me and Aelia worked on our binding spells, bone reversal spells, full body binds, blasting spells, stinging spells and of course our defenses: shielding spells, disarming spells.
That's when it hit me and I started to think a bit more into everything, "Aelia, if we're trying to find these stones to bring the factions together then shouldn't we try living with them in peace first? I mean that's what getting the stones is all about, uniting, so what if we can do that? We have to try."
She looked at me for a few seconds, stopping and standing still, "that's a good point and I think we do need to try that, before we just start fighting. Cyprus, hey, Cy listen up real fast. Lilly just thought of something," she looked back at me and nodded, "go ahead."
"Okay," I swallowed nervously, "uhm- you know how we're trying to collect all the stones to unite us all right? So we can all live together in peace, no war? Well what if we try that right now, with those vampires? Obviously we propose and it'll be up to them which at that point we act how we need to but I think we should try. It's what we're about."
He looked at me for a few seconds before nodding his head, "okay. We will. That doesn't end training though, if it goes to shit we still need to be prepared so keep it up." I was relieved, happy that what I thought was actually happening. I don't know, it just made me feel a little more confident in myself.

CYPRUS POV"You guys ready to go?" I walked into the living room, "sun is going down, it's time to get ready and start moving out." I walked around as everyone came out and I walked over to Anna who was sitting on the couch, Aelia went to Rose.
"Please be careful," she sighed as she wrapped her arms around me, "please come back in one piece."
"I'll be back," I kissed her head, "I love you."
"I love you," she pulled back and kissed me gently, "I love you so much." I smiled and kissed her nose before standing and turning towards the front door.
"Ready?" I asked, "lets go." I walked outside, the others followed me. We quickly and quietly made our way into the woods. We made it out to Green Glenn just as the sun set completely behind the trees in the distance. We walked through the gates, Cade was already a wolf, I wasn't yet. Instantly I heard rustling in the trees around us, all of us did. "Keep moving," I said lowly, "they'll come to us soon enough." We continued forward, walking towards town instead of the houses.
"What are you doing here?" he ran to the middle of the road and stared at us, "we aren't letting you out so easily this time."
"That's fine," I stepped forward, "because we aren't leaving. We have a proposition."
"A proposition?" he laughed walking towards us, "what is this proposition?"
"We live together," I looked into his eyes, "we have rules of course, but we can all live together in peace if you're open to it."
"What are these rules?" he asked.
"Well those people you have mind controlled in town have a free will, they should be allowed to use it," I glared, "you don't feed on them in here, they're off limits."
"Off limits?" he laughed some more, "that's our food guy. You might be a wolf but- hey wait a minute- you were wolves. How can you shift whenever you want?"
"Something called a powerful witch," I merely threatened, "which we have still, on our side, so we're either agreeing or you're leaving."
"Let me get this straight," he walked closer to us, "so you come in here, demanding that we change everything around and then threaten to kick us out if we don't abide?" We heard a few others laugh from within the wooded areas around us, "we don't care about your stupid rules. You're outnumbered."
"We're stronger," Lilly stepped forward, "please don't make this worse."
"You're making it worse," he hissed, "lets go." Lilly was quick to grab him, Aelia did the same with another. I was quick to jump up and shift, when I landed back down I saw Fen rip the head off of one. I watched two start towards Cade who was already fighting with one so I charged, lunging forward and taking one to the ground.
"You messed with the wrong vampires!" he hissed.
"Not us," I shook my head, "you. Last chance. Get out of here." I jumped off of him but again, he tried to attack me. I felt his arms wrap around my neck and when he started to squeeze I let out a yelp. Suddenly he was ripped away from me and I looked up to see Cade bite into his throat.
"You okay?" he growled as he turned to face me.
"I'm okay," I stood, "thank you- hey watch out!" He ducked down immediately, the vampire struck me and we broke out into a fight. It lasted for about thirty seconds before I was able to throw him to the ground and bite him. He screamed in pain as I stepped away and looked up. Lilly and Aelia were both working on slowing them down.
By now over half of them had to have been killed and we still had no scratches or bruises.
"Fall back!" I heard one of them say, "fall back! Scatter scatter!" We watched as all of them disappeared into the woods.
"Should we follow?" Cade stepped forward.
"Let them go," I shook my head, "no more deaths tonight. Aelia and Lilly, go get Rose and Anna. Bring them back here, we're going to head to the houses and get them straightened up enough for the night. Can you do that?"
"Of course," Aelia nodded, "yes. We'll be fast, we'll be back soon."
"Cloak yourselves," Fen walked up to Lilly and hugged her, "thanks for having my back. Be safe." It made me smile. They get along way better than most siblings I've known. She nodded her head and the two of them were off, Lilly is fast, no doubt they'll be back within the hour.
