AELIA POV

Hopefully Anna got that message. I'm worried if she didn't that we will be stuck here for a while. I'm worried about Cade, I don't know where he is or what they're doing to him. I've heard him screaming out, begging for whoever is in there with him to stop. It makes me cry every time and I can't do anything about it. Want to know why? Because Mariah took my necklace and has me in a metal dog-like cage. I can't draw power from it, there's none to pull.

There's a girl here though, Camille, Cami. She's sweet, been nice to me so far, even went as far as to stop Mariah from putting a silencing spell over me. She's brought me soup, even sat and talked with me. Not sure what the endgame is, I'm sure she's just doing what she's told. Nick is sneaky like that. She's pretty and has such a soothing voice, so calming. I wouldn't mind seeing her again, at all.

The sun was completely down now, the moon was huge in the sky. It lit up the woods around us.

"Ironclaw Pack!" Nick called out, "gather, everyone gather!" I watched as his pack circled around him. "As you all are aware, we have two special visitors with us tonight!" They all cheered, hooting and hollering, howling out. "Now, all of you also know of my bastard son," he laughed, "and how his alpha cheated me out of our land! Our-"

"He won fair and square!" I yelled out. I couldn't contain it. He's lying. Justin won, and he won fair. His attention along with the others all focused on me. He walked towards me, opening the cage and pulling me out.

"Who are you again?" he spit in my face.

I was quick to turn my head away from him to try and miss it but it still hit me, "one of your beloved guests." He threw me to the ground, just as I was hoping he would. I stuck my hands into the soil and started to draw power from the sacred land.

"What do you think you're-" He started to walk towards me but I was faster than him. I quickly stood and threw my hands forward, sending him flying backwards through the trees. I spun around at the same time everyone else started to jump for me. I did my best to fight them, throwing punches, kicking my legs all around and just doing anything I could to get away. It wasn't working though, there were too many of them and not enough of me.

"Cade!" I screamed, "Cade where are you!" I was harshly taken to the ground where my hands were tightly zip-tied together behind my back.

"Someone take her into the Bogged Vault!" I heard Nicks voice through the trees. I was ripped from the ground and I cried out as I landed on my feet. "NOW!"

"I'll take her!" her voice topped every others there. I snapped my head towards the group of wolves as she pushed through. She walked up to me and pulled me away from them, "back off, I'll do it." She pushed the other off me and pulled me down the stairs and off into the woods.

"What are you doing?" I whispered nervously, "Whe-"

"Shh," she hissed, "they can still hear." She was even quieter than me in her last sentence. She pulled me down into a cave like structure. "What were you thinking?" she let me go, "Aelia, seriously?"

"Why are you helping me?" I asked confused, "why are you being so nice? Do-do we know each other or something because I'm sorry but I don't know you."

She looked at me for a few seconds and I went to apologize, realizing I sounded like a complete snob. She cut me off though, telling me not to be and then vaguely explaining, "I- wolves- something happens to them whenever they uhm-" Her face started to get red. "Nevermind," she shook her head, "nevermind, I- forget I said anything." I looked at her for a few seconds but she wouldn't make eye contact with me. I looked around the cave but could hardly see anything it's too dark. "I just feel a connection around you," she went on again, "a good connection. I uh- I haven't had that in a while so I'm just trying to- I don't know I just-"
