A couple months later
I'm standing in the doctor's office with my beautiful wife. She's showing and she's getting her 2 week check up. Soon her doctor walks in and she says Hello Mr and Mrs Laveau we have something that we missed. Theirei says is our baby okay? She says nothing like that it's just we missed another child. I say you mean there's- she says 2 Theirei says w.we're having twins? She says yes twins a boy and a girl and they are healthy and well.
I say this is great news she says I'm glad you think so and she leaves out. I look at Theirei and she says we're having two I say 2 perfect babies. She says I'm scared say whats wrong? She says what if I'm not a good mother? I say baby you'll be perfect I know it. She says you really think so? I say I know so I pick her up and I carry her down to the car. I help her in and I get in and start the car. I say Are you hungry? And I start driving. She says a little that's that's my phone starts ringing. I take it out of my pocket and I press accept. I say Oui Sébastien says nous avons besoin de vous à l'entrepôt (we need you at the warehouse) I say tu vas devoir le faire fonctionner sans moi je m'occupe de ma femme en ce moment (your gonna have to make it work without me I'm tending to my wife right now) he says Les Russo ont pris d'assaut notre cargaison et tué 2 de nos hommes (The Russo's stormed our shipment and killed 2 of our men) I say ont-ils obtenu quelque chose (did they get anything) he Ils ont pris une caisse d'armes c'est tout mais tu sais qu'il faut riposter (They took a crate of guns that's it but you know we must retaliate) I get so pissed off I say trouve où ils se cachent et reviens vers moi je serai là dans quelques heures je m'occupe de ça ce soir (figure out where their hiding and get back to me I'll be their in a few hours were handling this tonight) I hang up and she touches my arm and she says baby? I say doll she says calm down she kisses my hand and she puts it to her face and it calms me down almost instantly. I say it's okay baby she says promise? I say yes baby
Later that night
I'm holding her we just finished making love and she's snuggled into me. She looks so sleepy she says I love you. I say I love you more doll that's when our bedroom house phone rings. I pick it up and I say Oui Sébastien says you need to hurry up and get somewhere safe. I'm on my way but you and Theirei need to get out NOW! That's when I hear an explosion outside. I grab her and lead her to the closet I dress us quickly and I pull her to my office. I take everything out of the safe and put it in my duffle bag. I get her to the back and I get her out I help her over the wall and I climb it. A car pulls up next to us as we're walking and I push her behind me and point my gun at it. Sébastien rolls down the window and he says get in. I help her in and I get in behind her and he drives away. Soon they start shooting at us and I shoot back until everyone in the car's dead.
