I don't want tomorrow to come,
The stress, anxieties, meetings, tests,
Because planting the seeds today,
Is proving such a difficult task.
Two fields done, one more to go,
But what if the seeds don't grow?
What if instead of flowers,
All that sprout are weeds,
What if instead of trees,
The ground remains empty and barren?
It hurts when the work we do
Don't yield results
Yet I'll keep chasing the sun
Because the day after tomorrow,
We'll see each other,
And maybe in the days after that,
I'll find myself.
