She's gone.

She's really gone.

The lamp which I turned on for her is off, the curtains are closed, and the rooms emerged in darkness. Lizzie choose to leave me, without a goodbye? I try to search the room but with no evidence of foul play, she left on her own accords. The room was spotless, and the only thing left is a note on my bed.

To Kian,

I wonder how long it will take you to find me this time?
A week?
No, it won't, but I do wonder how long it'll take before you drag me back.

Don't miss me too much, and remember, you only win when you know the rules. I love playing the game, and so do you.

Good luck, Husband.

These Violent Delights Have Violent Ends.

Love, Lizzie

I said it from the beginning, but this girl will be the death of me. She's left, but started a new game. Because that's what we do, we play games. Sick, and twisted games. I remember after the betrayal I lied and called Lizzie a game, God, I wished I could say I would change that, but I don't. Fate works in many ways, and because of that betrayal, it got us to where we are today.

As I pocket the note I call Kai, after the fourth ring he picks up. "Missing me already?" He asks and I roll my eyes at his sarcasm. "Lizzies gone," I say aloud, and the realization hits that she is actually gone. "Gone?" Kai repeats into the phone as I hear movement on his line.

"Get over here," I demand before hanging up, two minutes later Kais stood in the suite with his outfit half on, half off. "Lizzie really left you," he states the obvious as the room we're standing in looks untouched. "She left a note," I comment as I pass him her attempt of a goodbye. I watch carefully as Kai reads the sheet of paper.

"She's challenged you?" He asks and I shrug, "is this some sort of kink?" Kai laughs at his question, I snatch the note back before pocketing it in my blazer. "Lizzies left but has practically told you to chase her," Kai highlights the point of Lizzie's note. She wants me to find her, why? Wouldn't she be happier to be freed of me?

If Lizzie wanted me to hunt her down, why did she leave? All of my questions can only be answered by one person. The only person I desperately want to see and talk to. "Why?" Kai asks the question I do desperately want the answer to. "Message Blake," I say as I check the room one last time for anything.

"He'll meet us downstairs," Kai informs me as we make our way into the hallway. As we wait for the elevator my name called out, "Bliss," both of us turn to see Hayden walking towards us, surprisingly he's able to walk in a straight line. "What are you doing up?" Hayden questions with a smile before looking at my brother, "I need to head home," I lie and Hayden nods. "Hope everything's okay," Hayden says as he walks past us and towards his hotel suite where I'm assuming Liv already is. "I still don't understand why you kept them around," Kai comments under his breath as the doors open. "I keep them around because they're my family," they are the only part of my family that isn't fucked up. They are my brothers.
