I'm weak when I'm in the presence of Elizabeth Bliss, always have been, always will be.

If The West, or Chicago wanted to destroy me, they'd have to do it through Lizzie. Maybe it was better that she ran, that way I knew she'd be safe, safer than with me. I knew where Lizzie has been for the past three months, but like I told Kai, I refused to drag her back to New York because I cannot go back to hate.

We are so much more than enemies than our blood. I love her, I've never stopped loving her, not for a minute, not for a second. Our love is built on so much more than who we are than my betrayal. I loved her long before making her hate me. I know Kai doesn't get to decide his fate, but I do. I chose to betray Lizzie, I chose not to drag her back home to me, the choices I made all had consequences, and that's what has got me to where I am today.

"You didn't come for me?" Lizzie asks as I pull away from her. Our clothes are nowhere in sight as I hover above her. God, I should not be doing this, I should be asking questions— interrogating her. Asking why she left me, especially when I was going to give her the opportunity. I need to know how she left the hotel undetected, I did ask Aria but that conversation went south. Aris doesn't like me, she doesn't like many in that case. Fuck knows what my brother and his friends did to her, it's clear they must be involved in her leaving town. Aria claims it's due to Giovanni's death, but I know something bigger happened.

Five Months Ago

"I can't deal with you right now, Bliss," Aria states as she rolls her eyes, I stand behind her in an empty hotel lobby. After I don't speak Aria scoffs, "fuck off, Kian."

"What did you do?" I finally ask because I know Aria helped Lizzie get away, I just don't know-how. How could they have planned this? When did they plan this? I have a million questions with no answers. And I have a feeling Aria could give me those answers. "I don't know what you're talking about," Aria comments as she glances around the lobby, "you don't?" I ask with sarcasm. "No, I don't," Aria claims as she finally looks at me. It's no secret that Aria hates me, I can't really blame her either. I did kill her twin after all. "Now, fuck off," Aria curses with a smile but I don't move. Why is Aria standing in an empty hotel lobby in the early hours of the day? "Who are you waiting for?" I question as Aria scoffs, "why do you assume I'm waiting for somebody?"
