NOWRUZ NIGHTS(YANDERE AVENGERS X TURKISH READER)

So, Nowruz is a festival celebrated by Balkan and some Asian countries and it signifies the start of spring if I'm not mistaken. It's like a Persian New year and families and friends come together to spend time with each other. This was requested by @Freak08 and I hope you enjoy, the Wanda Maximoff is for @luna-D-umbreon

Peter Parker(Tom version): He's very fascinated with your culture and traditions. He's like an enthusiastic golden retriever always asking questions about your culture so he can know more about it so he won't look like a complete doofus when a festival comes around and he wants to impress you. He also wants to see you wear your traditional clothes once with his own eyes, yes he has seen pictures of you wearing them, Pictures which you MAY or MAY NOT have shown him. What? He really loves you and is madly obsessed with you, he thinks you look adorable, you look like a Turkish royal

So, when it's time for Nowruz, the Iranian/Persian New Year, he sees you in your traditional clothes and his mind has stopped working, literally. He'll be staring at you with a deep shade of pink dusted on his cheeks as he stutters to compliment you, you just look so magnificent and breath taking so excuse him if a cat got his tongue and is too tongue tied to speak with you at the moment. You'll snap your fingers to get his attention and he'll tell you that you look wonderful. Peter will be dressed in the Shalvar Jameh(Sort of like a long shirt I guess) combination with a wide belt called the Kamarband and you'll be wearing your traditional clothes as well while you both will be spending time with your family and other friends that Peter is a bit wary of since he doesn't want any of them slithering up to you and trying to steal you away from him. Which is why he'll be sticking with you like glue the entire time 

Peter is very respectful of your culture and traditions. People laugh, sing and dance with one another and have a jolly good time with each other as they're wearing colorful flowing dresses with flowers on them. He literally has to control himself from drooling over the food, it just looks so damn good. The traditional Nowruz feast consists of sabzi polo ba mahi (herbed rice served with fish) is a Nowruz mainstay, kuku sabzi, a brilliantly green herb frittata. Other dishes include mixtures of raw nuts like pistachios, almonds and walnuts, and ash-e reshteh (Iranian noodle soup) and some delicious Turkish sweets. When it's time to jump over the fire for purification and good luck, Peter is nervous for you. He doesn't want you to lose your footing and fall into the fire, he's very paranoid about your safety. As much as he appreciates and admires your customs, he thinks it's dangerous for you to jump over the fire. But you tell him it's all right and he's still not convinced. He wants you to hold his hand and then he'll let you jump, at least if you lose your footing and balance, he can save you and push you out of harms' way. Peter loves you far too much to let anything happen to you 

Stephen Strange: I have a feeling he'd already know all about Nowruz and it's customs and the beliefs of people and everything and yet he still pretends he doesn't know anything just so you can explain it to him so he can hear your lovely voice. But he won't really be listening to you, he'll be staring at those lips of yours, dreaming about how wonderful and lovely it would be if he were to kiss them as he gets lost in those dreamy mesmerizing eyes of yours. You'll have to snap your fingers or throw a pillow at him to get his attention back and he'll be really flustered but hides it very well lol. He's really fascinated about Nowruz but he's never had the experience of going to a Nowruz festival. All that changes when you invite him to your place for the celebration and he's really elated and pleased, he feels flattered and honored you'd invite him for the celebration

He will dress up in an appropriate attire since he doesn't want to look out of place and will come with a gift. He sees you in your traditional clothes and finds you absolutely enchanting and he's spell bound by how radiant you look. He sees you laughing with some other people and smiling at them and he instantly feels a flash and pang of jealousy, you should be laughing and smiling with him, not the others. However he keeps a cool face and strides over to you and he feels pleased when you introduce him to the other people. However when you tell them he's your friend, in his mind he thinks that's going to change soon one day. You both are destined to be together and he'll prove it as much as you want 

When he hears you singing, he thinks you have a melodious voice and since he's a bit of a show off and a know it all, he'll be spouting random facts about your culture and the traditions and legends of Nowruz to other people to impress them. And you as well, just to prove he's done his research and homework about it. Smug prick. He marvels at the food and the decorations there and admires the way things are organized. When it's time for jumping across the fire, he's a bit worried since he doesn't want you getting burnt so he'll discreetly use his magic to make sure the fire doesn't harm you. He'll let you do whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm you. And since it's his first Nowruz he plans to make the most of it. What could possibly be more romantic than asking out the person you love on such an auspicious day? 

Wanda Maximoff: She'd like to be prepared as well when it comes down to finding out about your beliefs and traditions and everything. She has magic on her side, what could possibly go wrong? She uses her magic to find out about Nowruz for you so she can proudly tell you stories and talk to you about your culture and make conversation with you. For her, she sees it as a great way to earn your trust and first see her as a friend and then a romantic love interest or significant other. She's a crafty one

She'll get whatever you need and require for the festival. Doesn't matter if it's not available in markets, like I said, she has magic to give you whatever you could possibly need. She loves it when you rely on her for stuff, it giver her a feeling that she's your caretaker and provider. She's very fascinated about your culture and both of you will go on a shopping spree courtesy of her and she'll try on all the new clothes with you. She'll even help you get the decorations you need and since she's an awesome cook, she'll look up recipes to win you over with and charm her way into your heart by going all out and making a delicious Nowruz feast with a dash of magic. She will compliment you when she sees you in your traditional dress and might even drop a few flirty pick up lines in your language. She'll smile to herself and thinks you're adorable when you turn red with embarrassment 

Like Strange, she isn't too keen on the idea of you jumping over literal fire but she'll let you do it anyways with a bit of magic ready to make sure nothing goes wrong. She's willing to anything for you, even if she has to save you from yourself she will do so, she cares a lot for your safety. You ARE her sweet darling after all
