PLATONIC YANDERE DOCTOR STRANGE X READER

Doctor Strange by nature usually doesn't appear to be 'caring' or 'kind' to anyone, rather some people view him to be a bit... condescending rather with a bit of an ego. But he does care for people and he DOES have a heart and feelings, he doesn't really express himself too much nor does he wear his heart out on his sleeve. Till he met you 

You could be a sorcerer like him, with another type of magic, maybe even more powerful than his which is something that vexes him but he doesn't show it. At first he's like 'Right, Imma ignore you so you won't bother me and be a hindrance to me' but later on, you kind of grow on him. Indirectly he does care for you, like an over protective dad or something. He just doesn't know that he cares for you, he inconspicuously does whatever he can in his power to make sure you're safe. If you do possesses magic or powers, he'll want to train you himself. At first he thinks that someone with your power might be a threat and you shouldn't get any wrong ideas to harm people but he observes your kind and caring and innocent nature and thinks that someone as innocent and kind as you can't ever go down the wrong path, but still he has to make sure 

If you're a civilian, you could either meet him at a library or at a bookstore or something. Or you can even meet him when he uses his magic to save you and the other people from some impending disaster and when you thank him and hug him, he's a bit confused as to why you were hugging him. No one's hugged him in a really long time so he goes a bit stiff and doesn't know how to respond but he awkwardly pats your head and tells you to be safe as he gets going. But you don't leave him alone, no you don't. You promise to yourself that you want to meet the 'magician man/dude' more and so when you do bump into him at the library around the block, you're excited and you start a conversation with him

You both have a conversation about books and other random things. He asks you where your parents could be and when you told him your parents were too busy with work and barely had any time for you, he scoffed a little and was a bit mad. What sort of parents were they, ignoring their own child like this? Money can be earned at any point in life, but the golden moments of children enjoying their childhood with their parents isn't something that should be missed. This chance would never come back again in life, no matter how much you try to wish for it. He also noticed that you had a bit of a sad look on your face when you mentioned that little thing about your parents and as much as he was honored that you were telling him this, and also kind of mad at your parents for neglecting you, he was also concerned

Do you just randomly tell people things about yourself? What happened to stranger danger? When he asked you why you were telling him all this, you smiled at him and replied "You saved me a while ago, I trust you'' and you were so naive and innocent and trusting. He knew people could take advantage of your kind and naive nature, which was why he decided to act like a guardian to you because your parents were no good anyways. He brought you under his wing and to be honest, you kind of remind him of Peter. Of course, Tony will eventually get to know about you and even he agrees you're like Peter. He jokingly mentions that Peter and you would make a cute and good couple and Stephen had to restrain himself from using magic to shut Tony's mouth and strangling him with his cape, no innocent thing like you can ever date someone! They'll just take advantage of you and besides, you'll be too busy spending time with them, you won't have any more time to hang out with him, which is something he's a bit fearful of. He doesn't want to lose you

All in all, he'll be really over protective of you. Even though he decides to train you, he doesn't let you do anything involving your magic and makes you wear a power cancelling device or he'll cast a spell on you to make your powers wear off for a while. It's not that he doesn't trust you, of course he does. It's just that those abilities of yours can land you in trouble and the last thing he wants is for you to get into any kind of trouble. He'll never be able to forgive himself if something happened to you. It's all for your own good, he also has a bit of a savior complex, he's intent on saving you from the world. He'll even go as far as saving you from YOURSELF if necessary
