This fic was actually inspired by one of Armaan Malik's songs called Wajah Tum Ho(which means because of you in Hindi) and I really like his songs, they're amazing :)

Love. Love is the most complicated feeling in the world and most possibly the universe as well. Some people think the world would be better off without love and some think the world needs more love. Love can be a pretty powerful force at times, and quite dangerous too. It's no joke, love can either create someone entirely new or can even shatter and destroy them completely, making them lose their sanity slowly and sink into the depths of madness and obsession for the one they claim to love, eventually turning them into something else, like none other than your dear friend Peter Parker

You'd first met Peter Parker when you were in school with him. Even though you were in another country your culture and traditions of being an Indian still remained with you and you'd first met Peter when you saw him getting picked on by Flash. You were walking along, going home after classes were done and you were really looking forward to having those delicious Aloo Parathas(Aloo paratha is a bread dish originating from India. It is a breakfast dish that is popular in the Indian subcontinent. It is made of flour, butter stuffed with potatoes inside) your mother made for you, and you were minding your own business till you heard Flash with his annoying buddies making fun of Peter for something 

You snapped when his insults became too much. "OI, YOU MORON, LEAVE HIM ALONE!" you yelled at him and got ready to use your quirk on him and his friends but he just smirked at you and spoke "Why are you sticking up for that loser Y/N? You know I'm better than him'' "What exactly are you trying to prove here?" you asked him through gritted teeth and he replied "That I'm the best, you really shouldn't be wasting your time with some  loser like him'' and you snarled "Gadhe Kahike, muh bandh karo varna mein tera daanth todh dungi(Literal translation from Hindi to English: You donkey, shut your mouth else I'll break your teeth)'' and he just stared at you like you'd said something he didn't understand. Mainly because you did, he didn't understand Hindi and he was starting to wonder if you were high on drugs or something but just then one of his minions told him there was a teacher coming that side and they had to get going

"We aren't done yet'' scowled Flash and you just scoffed and rolled your eyes at him as you helped Peter and you smiled at him and spoke "If it makes you feel any better, I called him a donkey in my native language Hindi'' and he chuckled softly, thanking you for helping him. "Why would you help someone like me though, he's right you know....'' and your expression softened at his words and you replied "Hey come on now, don't be like that, don't let those morons tell you what to do, it's your life and your choice''. You comforted him and that's when Peter realized he was starting to fall in love with you

You need to understand it from his perspective and point of view. You helped him from his bullies, you told him he could become something in life and didn't lose hope in him! Instead you filled him with hope, hopeful that he could become something in life. You were his ray of sunshine and he was so thankful and glad that you came into his life. He was your best friend and you were his but he wanted to be more than just best friends with you. After a few months of hanging out with you, he wanted to prove to you that he could take care of you, how he could love and care for you but he was nervous as well

Peter was also very interested in your culture and traditions, he started doing his research and homework about your culture early on so he can prove that he can be an ideal husband for you when you both grow up and get married to each other. He's very fascinated with whatever you do really, it's all really interesting to him. You'd invite Peter to your house whenever you'd celebrate festivals like Holi, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturti and many more and he likes the Kaju Kathlis, like you since it's your favorite sweet. Whatever you like, he likes and whatever you hate, he hates as well
