The last time I was in my father's office was because I was in some serious trouble. Now? I'm pretty sure he wants to harass me.
"Ana, I'm so proud of you, " he starts, as he sits down. "You know, I wish you would've told me, what was going on. We were all so lost in pain and mourning for your mother, that we started to face our battles by ourselves."
"I love you dad."
"I love you too, Ana."* * *
I'm sitting in front of him, and I watch him sigh heavily.
"Well, look who it is. Little Miss. O'Neil."
"Fraiser."
"Why are you here?"
"You know, I wanted to come and tell you what a horrible excuse you are for a human being, and I wanted to degrade you. However, I won't, because I'm pretty sure you already know that. I hope when you sit in that cold jail cell, all by yourself, I pray to God you find peace, and I pray that you find remorse. Mr. Fraiser, what you did was wrong. I trusted you, and in return, you raped me. I hope you can live with yourself. I hope God will forgive you." I slide over a KJV Bible, along with a journal and a pack of pens. "This is the last time you'll see me, Fraiser. All the best."
My old demons have finally been buried. I'm free.
