* just some playful Chucky action

* note: dont know much about Chucky. watched the movies when I was younger and I completely forgot everything :)

"You won't ever grow up, you won't make it past six.." I listened to the recently released music from Ice Nine Kills, staring at the Chucky doll I've had my whole life. Well, since the movie came out. I guess I always had a horrid imagination. Or, the doll was actually haunted.

My parents didn't think anything of it. Just a doll? Yeah right. Not all of the dolls in my house were haunted. And I don't think Chucky was either, until we moved. It was horrible — I was crying the whole time. The only doll I had with me was, well, him.

I had just come by to clean up some things that I wanted to take with me to my new house in MA, one with my boyfriend Spencer Charnas. We had been dating for about six months, knowing each other for way longer. Sadly I had still lived with my parents, trying to take online college classes.

"You're going to take that doll with you?" my mom asked while standing in the doorway. "Don't scare off your boyfriend now." I laughed and turned my music off, shoving my phone in my pocket.

"Don't worry, he's obsessed with horror films. Haven't you listened to his bands' music?" I asked.

"We don't listen to that type of stuff, honey, you should know this!" she replied and walked in, helping me put things in boxes. I made sure to leave Chucky out to put on the top of one. "Your father is talking his ear off downstairs, though."

I smiled and continued packing my things. The song Assault and Batteries ran through my head, even without the music playing. We got everything downstairs and packed into my car and Spencer's both. I had Chucky in my car, though.

"It was nice meeting you guys, and I'll take care of your daughter," Spencer said while shaking my dad's hand and giving my mom a hug. After she gave him a hug, she tackled me in one.

"I'm going to miss you!" she said while squeezing the life out of me. She pulled away and I side hugged my dad.

"Be good," he said like I was a kid going to a friend's house.

"I'll text when we're there, I love you both so much."

Spencer helped get the boxes unpacked and taken up to his bedroom. "Listen, Spence, we don't have to-" he cut me off.

"Babe, I want your things in here," he spoke and came over to hug me. I smiled and looked at him before something hit me in the head. I jumped and looked over to my right, where it came from, and saw Chucky sitting on the dresser as a red plastic ball was now at my feet. "Woah, you have a Chucky doll?"

"He's a little chaotic."

"That's so cool.." Spencer said and walked over to him, gently picking him up. "He's haunted?" I nodded and picked up the red ball, walking next to Spencer.

"Listen Chucky, let us clean up and we'll play," I said with a smile, setting the ball next to him. Spencer put the doll down and looked at me, shocked. "He won't hurt anyone, he just likes to throw things. He's not as evil as the movies."

"How did he get.. haunted?" Spencer asked and opened another box.

"It happened when we moved when I was younger. The house was haunted but we had a medium come. She thought she got everything out, but I guess she just got one put into my doll. He was my friend growing up. Sounds cliche, I know." I told the story, putting some clothes into drawers. We continued to put things away, the red ball hitting Spencer this time.

"Ouch!" he laughed. I looked to Chucky,

"Hey, if you don't stop, we won't play at all." I crossed my arms and looked at him with a serious look.

"Don't be so rude babe." My boyfriend threw the red ball at me and I gasped, grabbing it. He looked at me with a smirk and I ran to my doll, setting it next to him.

"Don't look Spencer!" I cried out in laughter. He turned around with a smile and I sat the ball in Chucky's lap and turned away myself.

"Now that's just taking sides!" I heard when the ball hit the ground. I looked and Spencer now had the ball. He tossed it towards Chucky, where it surprisingly landed in his lap. I walked away and acted like I wasn't suspecting anything until the plastic hit my back. I gave a playful and evil smirk, picking it up and throwing it at Spencer once again.

This lasted for a while until we ended up on the floor with Chucky still sitting on the box. Spencer held me in his lap, gently rubbing my arms. I sat with my head laying back on his shoulder. "That was fun.." I spoke quietly with a smile. He put his lips to mine and I kissed him back. We stayed like that for a few seconds before he pulled away.

"Wanna go grab some dinner?" he asked. I nodded and stretched, getting up and then helping him up.

"Now listen Chucky, we're gonna go out to eat, if you behave and keep it clean I'll bring you another ball, a new one," I spoke to him like he was a child. Spencer walked over and pat him on the head, grabbing a leather jacket and throwing it on. I grabbed a hoodie from the band my boyfriend was in and put it on as well.

We went to dinner and then made out way to WalMart. Spencer decided to get a ball pit, for a doll, and we headed home. In the car, his hand was on my thigh as his finger softly tapped to the beat of his album. "Listening to my songs over and over again is gonna be tiring," he spoke with a smile.

"Well I like them," I argued playfully. We pulled up to the house and unlocked the door, walking in. Sitting on the back of the couch was Chucky. Everything looked perfectly fine.

"I got you something.." Spencer said and held up the bag of ball pit balls with a small kid ball pit.

"You're going to spoil him," I said with a shake of my head. Spencer set everything up and put Chucky in the middle of it. And before we knew it, balls were everywhere.
