Y/n

Ever since Spencer took me in, I've healed. My bruises are gone, my breasts and stomach are back as I was a little chubby before the humans took over, and I was eating and drinking well. Today we were going outside. I was going to tuck my tail in my hoodie and wear a beanie to cover my ears. Spencer was taking me to get my hair cut!

"You ready?" he asked as he walked into the room we shared. I was just staring at myself in the mirror. You couldn't tell I was a werewolf but I felt so self conscious. A new law passed recently that caused all found werewolves to be turned in to a camp where "they live in peace together." But I knew this wasn't true.

"Can't you just cut it?" my tail wanted to tuck between my legs but I didn't let it. Spencer looked at me and walked over with a sigh. We've had a relationship for a while. I wouldn't say we were dating, just madly attracted. Of course I was still opening up to him and all humans.

"Baby, you wanted to go outside," he said as he snaked his arms around me from behind, gently grabbing my chin and facing me towards the mirror. "You're beautiful, human or not."

"I don't look human.." I whimpered. This caused him to kiss my temple. I smiled softly and watched him through the mirror as his kisses slowly traveled to my neck. I slightly pushed him away and gave him a scared look.

"Sorry, puppy.." his nickname for me slipped off his tongue and he pulled away. Spencer began to walk away but I hugged him from behind. My head was just barely between his shoulder blades. I kept my forehead against him for a few seconds before I turned my head to the side.

"Don't be.." I whispered. I moved my tail to wrap slightly around his waist and he softly pet it. "We have an appointment to get my hair cut."

Once we got to the salon, I started biting at my fingernails. Spencer was quick to grab my hand and walk me inside. There were other women in there, listening to music. A girl with black hair and fishnets that stood out against her pale skin turned around and walked to the counter. "Hello! How can I-" she suddenly stopped speaking as she stared at Spencer. She then looked at me and I hid behind him.

"You know my music?" he chuckled and asked.

"Uhm, yes! It's the best! I went to one of your concerts! What can I do for you?" she asked giddily. Spencer slowly pulled me out and smiled.

"We need to get her hair cut. But um.. she can't take off her hat." Spencer stated this sternly. The girl looked at us weird and slowly wrote down his name. The girl motioned us over and I slowly sat in the chair.

"I might need to take it off," she said as she pulled my long hair back. I panicked and grasped onto Spencer's arm, not wanting to let go.

"I'm sorry, miss, she just had surgery and she's very self conscious about it. She has''t regained the part of her speech in her brain yet. Are you sure you have to take it off? I could give you an autograph if you do your best." Spencer explained the first part softly. I couldn't talk anymore. I was fine with it, not wanting to talk anyways. Spencer's hand gently massaged my arm. I watched the girl's face soften as she smiled and nodded.

She put the robe over me and I still held onto Spencer. She pulled up a chair for him which made me relax a little. I sat staring at him the whole time. He'd look at me with loving eyes and drew small words like 'love', 'wolf', and 'kiss' onto my skin with his fingertips. It felt like hours, but I finally heard the girl take the last snip.

"All done!" she spun me to look at the mirror and my hair was now (hair length) (h/c). I smiled while showing my teeth, almost forgetting I had fangs. Spencer smiled as well and we got up to pay. I walked out to the car and saw a small van outside. The man in the drivers seat was staring at me. I ducked into Spencer's car and sat curled into a ball.

Spencer got into the car and I assume he noticed the driver as well, because as soon as he was on the road, his foot didn't leave the pedal. "He was staring. I know that van."

Spencer grabbed onto my hand and drove with the other. We pulled into his garage and jumped out of the car. He walked to the front door and unusually, it was unlocked. Spencer slowly pushed it open and I noticed a new scent in the house. "Hm, must've forgot to lock it." Spencer shrugged this off and shut the door.

I took my hat off and let my ears spring up. The first thing I heard was a van door, and then, "WSA! Open up!" Spencer looked at me with wide eyes and mouthed at me to run. I hadn't done it in a while, but I turned into my wolf form and ran without making any noise.

Spencer

'Run' I mouthed to Y/n. When I saw her turn into her wolf form, I was shocked for a moment, but I answered the door. "Hello?" I questioned. There was a man dressed in a Wolf Safety Association uniform, along with two men who were wearing swat-like outfits.

"Hello there. Is this the house of Mr. Charnas?"

"That's me." I replied with a soft smile.

"We have a little wolf running away from us and believe he may have stopped at your house. Is it okay if we look around?" My heart sank. No, no it wasn't okay. Because in the back, I saw them bring another wolf out. The wolf looked okay on the outside, but I could tell he wasn't through his eyes. They were a perfect purple, but dazed. They had no light in them. No hope of light.

"Of course!" I said, welcoming them in. I hope Y/n found my place for her. I managed to hold back my anxiety and let them walk into my house. I slowly followed them around as they checked every room, the wolf shaking his head in each one. Until they came to the bedroom. This was where her hiding place was.

The wolf walked around and sniffed a moment at my bed. "Got anything?" the leader asked him. The wolf looked back and shook his head,

"Just the smell of cologne. Nothing I can smell in here. Though.. the next door neighbor.. I smell something off.." the wolf said with as much restraint in his voice as possible.

"Thank you, Mr. Charnas. We will not bother you again," the leader shook my hand and I followed them out. The wolf looked back at me and he mouthed something I would never forget:

'Take care of my daughter and son.'

My eyes widened as I shut and locked the door, running back into our bedroom. I swung the closet door open and moved the clothes, finding the second hidden door. I gulped and opened it.

Y/n's green eyes met mine as I saw she was holding a small child. The boy was crying into her arms. Something told me that he ran into this house for a reason. I watched a small tear roll down Y/n's face before I kneeled down and took them both into my arms.
