"Listen, it's coming back only on Halloween. This is our chance to rewatch it but together," Spencer talked to me through the phone as I stood outside on my break. It was a nice day so I decided to come out. "I mean none of your other friends will want to come."

I sighed as I heard him laugh. It had been about a year since we met at the movie theatre. I had gotten a stable job at an office, where I was allowed a 30 minute break, and Spencer was one of my only friends. It didn't mind me — everyone only came around when they figured out I was friends with a popular singer.

"Oh trust me, if I tell them you'll be there, they'll be begging to go with me." I took a sip of the coffee I had. It was midday, but I still needed coffee.

"It's the 30 year anniversary since the movie came out! Pleaseeeee..." he begged, holding out 'please' as long as he could. Turned out it was pretty long when you scream at a low tone in most of your songs. "We're releasing a song about the movie. I'll give you a premier and everything!"

I laughed, "Woah woah, hold on Spence." The other line went quiet and I smiled, knowing he was waiting for my response. "I'll go with you-"

"Yes!"

"-on a few conditions."

"Shit." he replied. I began walking back towards the building, my break about to end.

"You know I have to work on Halloween, but I'll try to be out on time that day, even though it's next week. I'll go as long as you let me buy the tickets and drinks and popcorn, since you never let me make up for Halloween Kills. Pick me up at the building the latest showing they have, and finally, wear something comfortable." I dragged out everything as long as I could, stopping at the glass doors. "My break is over, I'll text you."

He didn't get a word in before I hung up, smiling and continuing back to my office. I knew he had to agree with me.

Halloween came and I was more excited than I thought. Everyone at the office, who normally dressed up professional, had costumes and makeup on. I decided to take some overtime so I knew Spencer and I would get to the latest showing possible.

My office was the only one still lit. My boss knocked and walked in. I looked up from the computer, "What do you need, boss?"

"I'm about to leave, come outside with me and wait," he spoke softly. I nodded and stood, taking my things with me and following him downstairs and out of the building. We stood outside as he smoked a cigarette.

"You can go, Mr. Thompson. My friend will be here soon," I told him. As he was about to reply, a black car showed up and the window rolled down. "Well, that's him!" I jumped into the car and Spencer rolled the window up. I quickly buckled in and looked at him happily.

"You look good," my driver of the night told me in a husked tone. I shook my head with a laugh. I was only wearing a Motionless hoodie with black shorts and had some face paint on.

"Yeah yeah, thanks Mr. Flirt," I replied as he drove off.

"I'm just trying to compliment you!"

"In that voice?" I looked over and he smirked.

"You like it." I looked away as a blush spread across my face. "Told you!" he laughed. I didn't talk back, just turned on some music as we drove on the highway. I was jamming out in my seat as he tapped the wheel to the beat.
