The sound of ringing was everywhere. It was so loud that I could barely hear my heartbeat. I could barely move my body but every time I did I was in pain. I couldn't see anything when I opened my eyes. I had to keep them closed for the most part.

I dragged myself to the door frame, or at least what I thought it was, and crawled onto my knees. I tried to speak but I was pushed down again and the breath got knocked out of me. I felt a sharp pain in my back and I fell unconscious.

Third Person

Once the phone rang from the police department, Spencer ran from his front door and to his car. He jumped in, starting the car, and speeding into the road. Even though people honked and he never put his seatbelt on, he couldn't take his eyes off the road.

His foot was on the gas the whole time, swerving past cars when he could and driving through the neighborhood his girlfriend lived in. Once getting to a spot between the police cars and ambulances with their lights on, he barely parked the car before hopping out. His mind was only on getting to his girlfriend.

"Y/n! Y/n!" he yelled, running towards the ambulance. A police officer stepped in but Spencer pushed past him, causing more officers having to grab him and stop him.

"Mr. Charnas! Please calm down!" a big, male office said. He grabbed Spencer and helped the singer calm down. "We've got it all under control."

"What happened!? I was on the phone with her an hour ago! She was going to sleep!" Spencer cried out. He tried to stop the tears forming in his eyes but he couldn't.

"We don't know right now. But we need you to look at something," a female officer came over and looked at him. Spencer nodded and hesitated before following her. As they walked to the front door, his eyes widened and his hands balled into fists.

The words "Wurst Vacation" was painted in dripping red blood on the walls. "This is one of your songs, is it not?" the officer asked. Spencer was too shocked to speak, repeating the one lyric of the song in his head.

. . . paint the walls with your flesh and blood . . .

"Mr. Charnas?" the female asked. Spencer couldn't help but start crying. He turned around and walked away, hitting the metal pole with his fist. The bones cracked and skin opened, but his emotions were everywhere.

"Spencer, we're gonna take you to the station to give a statement, is that okay?" another male officer said. Spencer obliged, wanting the person who did this to be caught immediately. He watched the ambulance with his much loved girlfriend drive off with the sirens on. "Let's get you there and cleaned up, we can talk later."

Spencer sat at the station in an interviewing room. He already told them that there was no way it was him. The phone call, the location, the rushing to her house and the license place. He kept his head down on the cold table and massaged his bandaged hand under it.

It had been about three hours that he had been there. They told him updates on Y/n and made sure he had food and water. The band members had showed up as well but were not allowed to talk to Spencer.

When the door opened, he lifted his head. "Patrick is here, he's gonna take you to the hospital. Y/n's out of surgery." Spencer stood and hurried out the door, meeting his band member and hugging him.

"Let's go, the guys are already there."

First Person

I tried to blink a couple times until my eyes cracked open. My body was numb as I tried to move, but I felt a hand on mine. "Shh, shh, don't move love.." someone told me. It sounded like Spencer, but I couldn't tell.

When opening my eyes, the lights were dimmed. I had to focus them before I did see my boyfriend standing next to the bed. "S- Spencer?" I asked. He smiled and lifted my hand to his mouth, gently kissing the back. I saw an IV in my hand and looked around, seeing I was in the hospital.

"I'm so glad you're awake.." he spoke quietly. I turned my head back towards him and moved my hand to his cheek.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You.. got hurt. You were in surgery for a while, love," he told me. I let out a sign and looked at myself covered by blankets. "You had surgery, but you're gonna heal." He put my arm down and moved the railing so he could sit on his knees next to me.

"I was attacked.." I spoke, turning my head to face him.

"I know I know, you'll talk to people tomorrow. It's really late baby," he said to me. I nodded and closed my eyes. He put his hand behind my head and kissed my lips gently. I tried to kiss back but I was a little too weak. "Just go to sleep, alright? I'll be here in the morning."

"It could have been worse.." I whispered before falling asleep.

After talking to the police, I was very tired. The nurse dimmed the lights and turned on the TV for me. I saw the news channel, "Wait, I wanna see.."

What popped up was about my house and the attempt of murder. I sat up slightly. It cut to the news anchor and then a video of the band. "We do not support any of these actions. Y/n is my girlfriend, and I'm ready for everyone to know that. The album is about horror movies, not crime."

"Some movies do include crime and are real stories, but that doesn't give any of our fans the right to twist our music," Joe said after Spencer spoke.

"Anything else you'd like to say?" the news anchor asked.

"Yeah, I do," Spencer spoke up. "Whoever did this will get found. And until then, all music and production from Ice Nine Kills will be on pause. Until Y/n gets better, everything is on pause. We have all agreed that this needs to be a break for everyone. And Y/n, if you're watching, just know that I love you. I will never let anything happen to you again. I promise."

I smiled and nodded to the nurse. "You can turn it off."

"Your boyfriend is very sweet," she said. I laid down. "And I'm definitely going to check out the music." I smiled and chuckled slightly, turning onto my side, even if it was painful. I finally found a comfortable spot and closed my eyes.

Instead of seeing what happened a few nights ago, I finally saw Spencer in my mind. It helped me feel better this time. I felt my body relax and I fell into a nice sleep.
