* WARNING: BLOOD, MURDER, WEAPONS

I sat at the front of the courtroom, glancing over everyone staring at me. My lied had to be straight, I had to get Spencer out of this mess. My bones quivered as the cross-examination lawyer came up to me.

"Spencer, there's not enough time to run," I told him, hearing the sirens. He pilled the ice pick from his fiancé's back and looked at me. I had already killer her affair. Spencer wanted to take on the role of killing her. "We can't make it out of here alive."

"You will. I need you to take the pick and run."

"I can't leave you!" I exclaimed as he forced the pick into my hands. I was already holding a bloody knife. Both of our prints were now on the weapons. I wasn't getting away without him.

"You can. Y/n, you need to leave me. I can take the fall. You can't," he told me, standing up and grabbing my face with his blood stained hands. "I have reasons behind my madness. You need to run as far away as possible, you hear me?"

I bit the inside of my cheek and he kissed me. It was soft, passionate. He pulled away and I turned around. Sirens were getting closer, and when I saw the red and blue lights, I bolted. I ran out the back door holding both weapons to my chest and into the woods.

I let my feet take me wherever they wanted. I kept running, and running. My phone chimed so many times I thought it was in my head. I looked at it, checking Spencer's location; still at the house. I was a couple miles away, but I kept going. I needed to be far away from him. If I got caught, he'd be so upset.

So, I shoved my now bloody phone into my pocket and continued running. I didn't know how long it took or how far away I was, I just saw a lake come into view and I jumped in it. I quickly washed off the blood from the weapons and left my blood stained clothes buried under sand.

I ran once again, in my bra and underwear. I had no where to go, I didn't take my phone from my pocket when I jumped in, and my mind was clouded with the murder we had both just committed. I was in love with the man. We both had similar thoughts, similar needs, similar sadistic cravings. I was Nadia's best friend. Key word: was. She was cheating on Spencer? So I decided to get Spencer to cheat on her.

I shook all thoughts from my head and continued running until I tripped and fell, my breathing heavy as all can be. I laid in the middle of the forest half-naked. Now what was I supposed to do?

I had to hold my tone the same way Spencer had told the story. Nadia nor Aaron were here to defend themselves - I only had to stand up to an attorney. And their parents. My heart raced as he walked up to me. I stood up straight and gave Spencer a quick glance before looking back out towards the court. I was getting him out one way or the other.

"So, Miss Y/n, you said you were at home when the murder happened?"

"No."

"But that's not what you said earlier," he pushed with a smirk.

"Don't twist my words. I did not say I was home, nor did I state where exactly I was," I responded. He looked annoyed.

"What is your relationship to the defendant?"

"He is a good friend."

"But there is evidence that you two are more than just 'good friends', correct?"

I gulped, visibly. He could tell I was becoming nervous. "I have not seen this evidence."

"Please, if we could turn to the screen." Everyone turned to look and my eyes widened. There was a picture of Spencer and I, being intimate. I was on top of him on the bed and was only wearing a set of lingerie. "Now you have seen it, I go back to my question. Were you guys just 'good friends'?"

My anger was building. I wanted to punch this guy in the throat. "Objection Your Honor, relevance?" mine and Spencer's lawyer stood.

"I was simply asking how they were together," the attorney told the judge.

"Sustained, move on Mr. Manson," the female judge spoke. I thanked the gods.

"So, you won't tell the jury and I the relationship between you two, tsk.."

"Objection Your Honor! Argumentative, trying to get the jury to agree," our attorney said once again. Spencer looked at me and nodded slightly.

"Sustained. One more mess up and we'll get another lawyer in here, Mr. Manson."

"Alright, let's move on. Now, you agree that Spencer went to Nadia's house that day, correct?" he turned back to me and asked.

"Yes." I stated.

"And how exactly did you know?"

God, I hated seeing his smug face. I had to keep my cool though, "Spencer had sent me a text that night saying he was to be gone from his house, that I couldn't come over and hang out."

"And you agree that when you were shown evidence, the mask that was portrayed to you was indeed Spencer's mask?"

"Yes."

"And the ice pick we found in his drawer was indeed his, yes?"

"Yes." I wanted so badly to shove a knife in this man's-

"Have you seen the music video Funeral Derangements?" I nodded. "Do you agree that the pick he used in the video was similar to the one he used to kill her?"

"Objection!" our attorney stood and slammed his hands on the table. Everyone's heads shot towards him. "Your Honor, relevance. Mr. Manson is trying to slip words into Miss Y/n that was not a part of the initial question."

"Sustained, Mr. Manson! You are excused from this case. We will reside tomorrow for the new cross examination," the judge hit her gavel on the wood block and I jumped slightly. I looked at Spencer straight away, they pulled him up in his orange jumpsuit and took him away. I gulped. I got up and rushed from the courtroom, pushing past everyone and straight to the bathroom.

I had been violated. My naked body was shown on top of Spencer's that I had no idea was being recorded. That was the first time he and I had sex. They tried to force me to agree that Spencer killed his fiancé. I didn't lie, I argued back with his questions.

I walked into a stall and broke down, slamming my fist against the wall of it. My makeup was going to run down my face and I was going to look disheveled, but at this point I could care less. I had no one here to support me. Both of my parents were either dead or in jail, no one else in my family came to support me, and Spencer's parents barely knew me.

I heard the door opened and I stiffened, trying to suck in my cries. "Y/n?" I heard Nadia's mother ask. "You can talk to me.. I know he didn't murder her.." that fact shocked me. I shot out of the stall and hugged the woman right away.

"I- I didn't have sex with him! Th- That was a fake! Th- They tried t- to show m- my body!" I sniffled and cried into her shoulder. She hugged me like one of her own and I couldn't stop crying. She tried to shush me and rub my back, but I couldn't help but pour my pent up sadness out onto her nice dress.

We soon slipped to the ground as I couldn't hold myself any longer and I saw another woman come in. "Oh, Y/n.." I heard Mrs. Charnas say to me. I looked up at her for a split second before she was down next to me, holding me just as tightly.

I wish I had stayed...
