Spencer Charnas One Shots

Bonus XXXIV. Valentine's Day *

I drove up to Walmart and parked. I was slightly nervous to be here, only because I was going to be buying things for Valentine's today. Spencer was going to be out until around dinner time and I wanted to make today extra special since he has been busy with things for the band. I got out of my car, locked it, and walked into the horrid store filled with people. I grabbed a cart and walked past the employee standing near the doors.

The first thing I did was pull up the list of things I wanted to get on my phone. I first went through the Valentine's day aisles. I looked around at all of the cute things that were surrounded by pink. The only time I really like pink is around Valentine's Day. I walked around for a while before I came across a giant blushed dinosaur. It wouldn't take up too much of the bed and it was awfully cute. I grabbed it and put it in the cart, continuing down the aisle. I picked up some fake flowers along with real roses and two bags of tea light candles. I grabbed some stickers and a couple cute pens with fluff balls on the ends of them.

I continued to the candy aisle. As I looked over all of the chocolate, I could not decide what to get. So I got a big Reese's heart, some of those chocolates in heart-shaped boxes, some marshmallows on sticks, and a box of strawberry popcorn that could be heated up in the microwave. I quickly got out of those aisles and headed back to the electronics.

I searched through the horror section of movies before finding Marley & Me in a different section. I threw the movie into the cart and went back to grab Silence of the Lambs. I walked to the other side of the store and picked up some frozen meatballs, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, parmesan cheese, and two bags of mozzarella cheese. I also got a box of those frozen cheesy garlic bread slices. I went over my list once again and forgot I needed a card.

I walked to the card aisle and looked through the cards for boyfriend until I found one and pulled the envelope out with it. I put them in my cart and headed to self-checkout so I didn't have to deal with people. I pulled into one of the registers and, honestly skillfully, checked out pretty fast. It all happened to be a lot of money, but I couldn't help myself. I bagged my items, swiped my card, and quickly left. I was so excited them the employee didn't ask to see my receipt.

I loaded everything into the car and pushed the cart to one of those cart places near my car. I got in and quickly drove back to our house since I procrastinated on going out and needed to start dinner as soon as I got home. I quickly got back home and loaded everything onto my arms, even though it hurt like hell, and got inside with unlocking and locking the door again. I look everything to the kitchen and sat it all down, getting it all out, and starting to get things ready.

I first started making the baked spaghetti that I was planning on making all week. Once that was set up and cooking, I took most of the V-Day stuff to the bedroom. I set up the battery powered tea light candles and put them on our dressers and a few on the bed. I took out the dinosaur and placed it on the end of our bed. I then put the roses in water for later. I also set out all the candy on the bed and also the popcorn bags.

I decided to go back downstairs and grab another vase which had fake flowers in them and I put the fake flowers into our closet. I put the new fake flowers in the vase and set it at the table. I got out our best chinaware and set it out for the two of us. I set out our candelabra for the middle of the table as well. I put out napkins and silverware. With the roses, I sprinkled some around the table, and then put a path from the front door to the table, and the table up the stairs and to the bedroom. I got the movies and put them on the bed as well and went back downstairs.

I got the text that Spencer was about 5 minutes away and I loaded the plates with food and set them back where they were. I lit the candelabra and put the lighter back in the living room. Since I changed into a (favorite color) dress and thigh high socks, I made sure I looked decent. I heard his car pull up and I stood a few feet away from the door so he could come in and get in as well. I heard Spencer's footsteps up to the door. He opened it and came in looking down. "I'm home babe! It smells delicious in here!"
