Kai
Kai led her down the beach, the cool water lapped at their feet as he took her to his spot. The rocky area appeared to their right as they went around a bend. He took her to the rocks and pulled her up into the crevice he liked to sit in when he was younger.
He was still filled with anger. Anger at his parents, especially his father. Kai was through playing their game and had now cut them out of his life. It didn't play out like he had planned; however, he at least had a weight off his shoulders. He wanted nothing to do with them after how they treated Sara. She deserves none of that treatment
Words couldn't even describe the depths of his feelings for her, he just hoped she understood in some way, just how much he loves her.
She hadn't said anything to him since they left his parents and he worried about her. He pulled her close and she rested her head back against his shoulder.
"This is usually where I come whenever I'm upset at my family, or anything really. It's quiet and secluded and no one else knows about it, except you." He looked down at her and caught her gaze as they sat there.
"It's beautiful" she remarked. Then he heard her quietly say, "I don't want to come between you and your parents Kai. They deserve your love."
He scoffed, "Trust me, they don't. I'm not going to be their puppet anymore." He brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it carefully. "Christi will be okay, but I worry because I won't be there to shield her from my father anymore." He bit the word father out, laced with bitterness towards the man.
"What are you going to do now?" She asked and her gaze fell out to the sunset. It's beautiful oranges and pinks filled the sky.
"What I planned to do from the beginning, with a few changes." He conceded. "The timeline just moved up is all. I will not work for Jensen Industries; I'll use the money in my trust fund to start up my business after I graduate and work a bit more. He can't touch that money; it was left to me from my grandfather, and I'll have access to it once I turn 25. I may need to find a new place to live, since the condo is in my parents' name."
She nodded, deep in thought and he felt her snuggle more into him. His arms wrapped around her, and he leaned his head against hers.
They sat there for hours. The sun faded into night and the stars started to shine and he continued to just hold her. Not wanting to leave their quiet, perfect place. Sometimes they spoke, sometimes it was just quiet, the waves their only sound.
He felt her shiver and knew it was time to get her home.
"Let's get you home" he hopped down from the rock and helped her down. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her soft lips. She kissed back, her kisses becoming more frantic. His hands slid around her back and cupped her ass as he pushed up against the rocks, trying to be mindful of the sharp points protruding out.
She finally broke the kiss so they could each breathe. "Where will you stay tonight?"
"I'll get a hotel for the rest of my stay. There's one not to far from your mom's. I can stay there and be close to you still." He took her hand and started to lead her back down the beach to his car.
"I want to stay with you."
"Are you sure?" he knew this was a big step for her and he wanted to make sure she was ready.
"Yes. I want to be with you Kai. I want all of you."
He stopped walking and cupped her face and looked deep into her eyes. The most beautiful brown he had ever seen. He could see the need and the want lurking just below the surface. He kissed her hungrily, filled with the love and lust he felt for her.
