*~*~* Trigger warning, this chapter details a rape. *~*~*

Sara

The door slammed behind her as Sara stormed out of her apartment. Casey had, again, suggested that she talk to Kai. Why was everyone so concerned about her breakup? Instead of being comforted everyone was up in her business, asking her to talk to him, to forgive him.

Kai knew what she thought of cheaters. He knew that it was a dealbreaker for her. He had even agreed with her on it. Yet here she was, being told that it wasn't what it seemed. No one believed her. Just like no one believes her about Kyle.

She saw Chelsea naked, in Kai's room. She saw Kai ramming into her while Chelsea knelt on all fours taking all of his dick in her. She heard her call his name.

I know what I saw. I can't forgive that.

Sara walked to her car and drove off to find some peace and quiet. A place that no one knew about. In her distracted state, Sara didn't notice the car that followed behind.

Sara walked along the edge of the pond. It was dark outside, and she could see her breath as she breathed. Nobody knew that she liked to come here and think. Sara had found the pond during a run one day during her first semester. It was quiet, tranquil. She came here often during that first semester when things became too much for her.

Picking up a rock she threw it at the frozen pond as far as she could throw. She picked up another and threw it as well. Then another and another until there were no more rocks in her vicinity.

Feeling better after the physical exertion, Sara went and sat down at a nearby bench.

It wasn't that she hated everyone, she just wished they would leave her alone right now. She didn't need the constant reminder that she had been dumped in the worst way possible.

Sara's mom was supposed to arrive in a few days to celebrate Christmas with her and Sara was not looking forward to it. If the plane ticket was refundable, she would have cancelled on her mom. For now, she was just going to have to grit and bear it, just like she was doing with everything else.

She let out a long breath and closed her eyes, willing the pain to go away. The past week had been the hardest, even harder than what she went through with Kyle. Both were painful in their own right, but there was a difference between being raped and having your heart ripped out of you and then stomped on.

Sitting there on the bench, watching, and listening to the quiet of the pond, gave her the quiet peace she had been searching for all week. It may not help forever, but for now, it would do.

A noise from behind her caught her off guard and she jumped up from the bench like it was on fire.

A chuckle from behind her made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She knew that chuckle. She slowly turned around and came face to face with Kyle.

"You're a hard one to get alone." He sneered, "Even after your boyfriend dumped you." He walked around the bench and stood in front of her. His hand reached out and lightly touched the ends of her hair.

"What do you want, Kyle?" she asked through gritted teeth.

"I thought you would have figured that out by now" He looked her up and down and her skin began to crawl. "Ever since I found out where you were. Where you... ran off to..." his voice trailed off and then he stepped closer, his face inches from hers. "I haven't been able to keep you off of my mind."

His fingers trailed down her face as she stood, unmoving. Why can't I move? She was frozen, literally and figuratively to the spot. Fear gripped her and held her in place. Yet her voice and gaze stayed stead as she eyed him and spoke.

"Leave, Kyle." She forced out.

"The only place I want to go is here" one of his hands shot out to cup the area between her legs. Sara cursed not wearing warmer, thicker clothing. Kyle's other hand reached up and grabbed a handful of her hair and wrapped it around his hand. Locking her into place.

"You can scream, but no one will hear you. You picked the perfect place for this." His breath fanned her neck as he spoke. He pulled on her hair, exposing her neck.

Sara's heart started beating uncontrollably and her skin crawled. He was right. It was dark and cold, no one in their right minds would be out right now.

"You can't have me" she spat. Even though her heart was racing a million miles an hour she somehow mustered the courage to keep her voice even and laced with enmity.

Kyle's fingers dug into her leggings; he was gripping her most intimate part like a vice. Tears pricked her eyes from the pain. She needed to get away. She struggled against him yet doing so only made his hands grip her harder.

"Stop struggling Sara."

"Let. Me. Go." She hissed at him, bringing her hands up to scratch anywhere she could.

Kyle let out a scream as her nails met his eye. Her victory was short lived, however. Kyle backhanded her across her face, and she stumbled to the ground.

"Bitch!" he screamed at her, "I'm going to enjoy making you pay for that."

He stepped closer, trying to grab her as she scooted back from him. He kicked her in the ribs as he came close enough. Pain shot through her, and she gasped. Crying as he continued to kick her.

"St-Stop!" She managed to get out between sobs. She curled into a ball, wishing the pain would stop. Kai knelt down next to her and punched her face then ripped her leggings off. Sara could barely move and had no more fight in her.

"You know" Kyle said between grunts as he took his own pants off and positioned himself between her legs and shoved himself inside. "It was pretty easy to pretend to be Kai." He said, panting. "Chelsea was a good fuck, and knowing you walked in on us, thinking it was Kai, made it even better."

Sara choked between sobs, the pain unbearable. She started struggling, trying to get free.

This time, Kyle punched her, and all went dark.
