Skylar hands the guy money and he gives her some change. We wait for Skylar on the sidewalk. (A/N, the horses followed the cab to the end point. It may not be realistic, but that's what I got.) We all mount our horses and begin to trot towards a 'Help' center. I ask the man for a map and he says grumpily, "50 cents." Skylar hands me a couple of quarters.
"Here," I mumble as I hand him the quarters.
The man bends down and hands me a blue folded map. He waves goodbye and we trot to a spot where we can stop and see the map. I unfold the map and process the roadways.
"Okay, we have to go down 25 blocks, and to the left 2 blocks. To get to Times Square, that is." I say, looking at Skylar and Alex.
Skylar opens her mouth wide.
"Charlotte, what?! Twenty five blocks?!" She says indignantly.
"There's a whole lot of longer ways, would you rather do that? Sorry, it's the closest way to go." I say calmly.
Skylar shrugs. "Hey, it's more fun and fast on horses guys, don't complain too much." Alex says and we all smile as we gallop our way to the one and only, Times Square.
