Alex held the hands of Sabine, my parents, Skylar and I and snapped her fingers. There was a flash of purple light so I closed my eyes. I felt myself falling, falling, until I saw white before my eyes. The white flashed nearer and soon I fell straight down onto it. A sudden pain shot up from my ankle and into my stomach. It settled in my stomach, eating my intestines, until it again shot up through the back of my head. It felt as if my head was going to burst open that second. Suddenly, I had no senses at all. I could no longer feel the strange cold of the white beneath me. I could no longer smell the scent of a burning candle somewhere nearby. I could no longer see my trembling hands held up to my head. Most of all, I could no longer feel the pain. I closed my eyes which gave me a light show. First I saw blue gushing into the scene, then blotches of red, and next? Everything went black.
-----------------------------------------------------
I lifted up my head, expecting to be back in my stable as I usually was, with hay poking me in the eye. But I wasn't. Then I remembered Sabine, and my parents, and Alex and Skylar and the quest.
"I-" I stammered.
A woman with a blue hood over her head told me to shush and she stuck a thermometer under my arm. I hear the maddening beep of the thermometer and the woman said, "She's a little hot, but she'll be fine after- three minutes. You guys lead her back to Nic's and warm up there. Get her some orange juice at the cafe so she has some energy. Then get her to the elevator and out of the valley. From there go straight to Frip to talk to him. I would say this calls for an emergency druid meeting."
Everybody around me nodded and soon I was on the back of Frost with mum controlling him. I leaned against the saddle, shivering. I touched Frost's silky coat. Then we arrived at a small campsite with a fire pit in the middle. Skylar set me down by the fire and we all closed our eyes, enjoying the heat. Later I chattered with Sabine, Skylar, and Alex at the cafe, drinking orange juice and laughing.
I heard the crunching of footsteps and knew what that signified. I stood up and thanked the owner with a handful of Jorvik Shillings and walked to the rest of the group. We left the camp, thanking everyone, and trudged along the snowy path until we reached an outdoor elevator. We lead our horses into the elevator and hit the button. We were soon drifting upwards towards a narrow cave. People held my arms as we stumbled out onto a mountainside road. The snow and cold slowly died away as we made our way down the mountain.

"Now, we have a lot to talk about." Frip said.
