We gallop down the street for about fourteen blocks until Skylar speaks up. We all slow down.
"Aren't you guys excited?" She says.
"Um, yeah, but I'm also a little bit, well, scared and excited I guess, so yes." I reply.
"Yeah, I'm excited too. I've done a LOT, a LOT, of quests, but this one is different. Being outside of Jorvik is weird and I guess, like, scary in a way cause you're not used to it." Alex says.
After our 'meaningful' chat the silence swoops in. Silence penetrates the morning sunlight as we trot down the street. Suddenly I hear soft, beating music flow through my ears. This song sounded familiar, definitely a Taylor Swift tune.
"Guys, I think we're here!" Alex squeaks.
She points at a huge setup with pounding speakers to give the city a nice mood.
We all gape at our view, Times Square.
That's when I find out what song it is.
"Welcome to New York," Taylor Swift sings, and I smile at my two friends.
