I soon figured out what Alex meant. We watched Sabine perform and the ball drop. I leaned against the fence, yawning and looked at my friends. They were tired, too. Alex nudged my and I prodded Skylar. The show was over and again, we were heading backstage with our costumes on.

My parents where jogging down the stairs and Sabine was sitting in a chair, drinking water. They all high-fived each other.

"Nice show!" and "great job!" were among the murmurs of my parents and Sabine.

Alex poked Sabine.

"Oh, yeah." Sabine seemed to understand, "Guys we're heading to the park."

Sabine slightly nodded at Skylar and I.
