Chapter 26

I hate him.

Bakit nagpakita pa siya? I told him to leave and never come back again. Well, he didn't show up for the past years. But, why now?

"Nak, sorry hindi kita nainform na dadating siya." sabi ni mama sa akin.

Hindi niya naman kasalanan yon. His just so makapal ang mukha for asking me if I'm fine. How can I be?

Lahat ng galit ko bumabalik. Hindi naman pwede na tanggalin sila as investor at malaki ang ininvest nila.

I asked my mom to let me have a leave. Ayoko muna pumasok. Masyadong naapektuhan ang damdamin ko.

"It's alright. If you want to spend your week only at home. I don't mind." She said.

I packed my things, ready to go out. But, fate is playing with me. Her mother is looking at me again.

"So, you two have meet again." she said. Ay naku, mang aasar lang to.

"Obviously, ma'am." while trying to keep a straight face.

"He's already engaged. Don't get your hopes up." she said before she left. Did I even ask her?!

Why wasn't it released publicly tho. Their company one of biggest in the country.

And wala naman akong pake kung ano ang desisyon niya sa buhay. The day I decided to let go, means I'm no longer part of his life nor his decisions.

"Diiiice! Let me stay over. I'm in a bad mood." as I lay down in her sofa.

''What's the tea?" she sat beside me.

"Nagkita kami ulet."

"And he asked me..."

"If I was alright..." I said

"Gago pala siya e! Pagkatapos niyang pilitin ka na humiwalay magtatanong siya kung okay ka? Aba hindi ata tama yon!" she said habang nanlalaki ang mata niya.

And I bursted out to laughter.

"Tangek! Grabe ka naman makareact. Tinanong niya ko kung okay lang ako kase nahingal ako kanina habang nag prepresent!" I said while laughing.

Dice looked at me.

"Ewan ko sayo." sabay talikod.

I know, concerned lang siya. But hindi niya ko pinatapos at nagreact agad siya.

"Party tayo." aya niya sa akin.

"You're not busy?" tanong ko. Akala ko ay malapit na board niya.

"Nope, I want to have some fun with you today. Ang tagal ko na kayang hindi nakakapag party." dumiretso siya sa walk-in closet niya.

Not a bad idea tho.

We're here at a bar. What we usually do is....

"Look at him, he got the looks but.." she was still thinking what to say.

"a pervert." I finished her sentence.

Tinititigan niya yung hinaharap ng babae malapit sa kanya.

Eto naman si ate makapagsuot labas ano na.

"That one." he pointed someone.

Woah! He's hot. Only talking to the barista. His laughing with him.

"Wanna try?" Dice asked me. I can already feel the rejection tho.

"Sure!" I agreed. Inasar niya pa ako na hindi daw ako papansinin.

What should I say?

I just seated beside him and ask for a drink.

"Mojito, please." I asked the barista and smiled. He just glanced at me and look at his drink again.

The barista gave me my order.

"Uhm, hi?" I awkwardly said.

"Hi."

Ay ang lamig naman.

"I'm Dale." I introduced while offering my hands.

He smirked.

"I know." he said.

Kumunot noo ko. How?

"I saw you at my cousin's debut party." he said.

Cousin? Debut?

Who's debut tho?

"You're Race's girl." he stated.

"And I don't entertain girls that my cousins are associated with."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I never saw you before that's why I approached you." I bowed my head.

Omg! Nakakahiya.

"It's good that you're not his girl anymore. They're the main family that's why mas strict sa kanila." he said and ngumiti sakin.

Ngumuso lang ako. What a small world tho.

"Palagi kong nararamdaman sa pamilya niya yon. I can feel na hindi ako welcome." I looked at him.

Reminds me of his chinky eyes.

"I shouldn't be talking to you. He'll get mad." he said and walked away.

Anong karapatan niya para magalit?

Lumapit si Dice sa akin at tinanong kung ano ang nangyari.

"Pinsan ni Race." I said.

Napa oh siya at takip bibig.

"Dapat pala di mo na nilapitan." Ngumuso siya.

I told Dice na restroom lang ako. I'm really sleepy, gusto ko muna umidlip.

I found an empty couch. I seated there and closed my eyes.

But, a minute had passed. I felt someone seated beside me. Tiningnan ko iyon and it was a stranger.

"Stop looking." I said.

Napatingin siya sa akin at tumawa.

"Hindi ba kaya nandito ka dahil gusto mo ng tahimik na lugar?" he was insisting something.

"Andito ako, dahil gusto ko umidlip muna." sabi ko.

"Hatid na kita sa bahay mo kung antok ka na." he offered. But we all know what he really wants.

"I'm still sober. No need to drive me home. Bye." I said and stood up.

"Wait lang, miss." he grabbed my hands!

"Ano ba?" I shouted at him. Hindi na kaya ng pasensya ko e!

"Pakipot ka pa. Gusto mo rin naman talaga." pang aasar niya saken.

Sinighalan ko siya.

"Pakipot? Sayo? Baliw ka!" I smirked at him. Mukhang na galit siya sa sinabi ko.

Tinaasan niya ako ng kamay kaya napapikit ako.

"Stop." I heard a voice.

"At sino ka naman?" tanong nung manyakis na hinayupak.

"I am her bestfriend's boyfriend. And her boyfriend's cousin." he said.

It's Ceo!

Napa-iling nalang yung manyakis at umalis na din.

"My bestfriend's boyfriend?" I asked.

Dice is right, he changed a lot.

Why am I keep meeting this guys today?

"I was just kidding." he said and umalis agad.

Is he still keeping an eye on Dice?
