Chapter 30

I felt relieved.

I don't need to hide our relationship to Dice. We now go to the office together. People always talk about us. But, it doesn't bother us.

"I want you to meet someone later." he said. Kumunot ang noo ko.

We both know that his parents doesn't like me.

"It's Ceo and the others." he said while smiling.

"Really? I also met Ceo a few weeks ago. And one of your cousins." I was talking about when I flirted with his cousin at the bar.

I was really embarassed back then.

"Cousin?" he was trying to think who in his cousins did I met. Kung ako sa kanya, I'll stop. Baka malaman pa niya kalandian ko nung wala siya.

"I don't know his name." I said while waiting for the coffee.

"His?" he was still curious.

I laughed loudly. But, covered mouth instantly. The employees were looking at me.

"Stop it. You'll just get jealous." I said and walked away as I recieved the coffee.

We walked to the parking lot. We are now going to the meeting place with Ceo.

We actually have good times together. Since, Ceo still loves Dice. He would always ask me for updates.

Skyen and Zarijel are the ones I wasn't able to talk to eversince he broke up with me.

"Babii, alam mo ba?" I started a conversation.

"Hindi po." he answered that sounds like he's teasing me. I just clicked tongue.

"Dice and Ceo met again. The day I met your other cousin. I was being harassed by some stranger. Ceo showed up, and Dice saw him with me. Pero hindi sila nag-usap. I mean, shouldn't they atleast clear things up?".I asked.

They ended with a really complicated story. More complicated than ours.

"Ceo would have already talked to her. Baka naman nag-usap na, hindi mo lang alam." he said.

Well, that could happen.

But, I saw how wreck Dice was. She would always cry herself at night.

Like how I did.

"Hi!" I greeted everyone.

It's Ceo, Zarijel, Skyen and that guy.

"Hanro." he said while shaking hands with me.

I awkwardly smiled as I remember that scene.

We all seated and ordered.

"So, kelan lang?" Skyen asked us.

Race didn't seemed interested talking with his cousins. Ugh! This person!

"A week ago. You guys are the first people to know about this that are not my family and Dice." I said.

They all looked at Ceo.

They're obviously teasing him.

"Stop, I'm at the moving on stage already." he said that made us mouthed "O".

"Scam ka! Isa kang malaking scam." I was making face.

"Kita mo ngang hindi na ako nanghihingi ng update sayo diba." he was also making face.

"You're already with her too!" I tried to caught him offguard.

But, I guess he got his guards up.

"Pinalitan mo na ako sa pagiging maingay, Abby." Skyen cutted off our conversation.

Ceo just rolled his eyes.

"Find someone already. So, you can relate." I also teased him.

Ceo was just smiling and laughing the whole time.

"I already have someone I like, but I don't think she likes me." he started opening up.

"Just try to be friends with her. You're fun to be with. She'll like you." I said.

Skyen is the type who'll never lets you get bored when you're with him. He'll always tell you jokes that are sometimes are not funny.

"Well, no one's asking. But, the girl I was talking about back at the rooftop. We're already together." Zarijel just revealed that she already has his girl.

Well, nasa tamang edad naman na kami lahat. But, he's really consistent though.
This feels like a reunion without Dice and her substitute is this Hanro.

"Why am I here tho?" he suddenly asked.

We all laughed.

Wala naman talaga siyang role, since hindi ko naman siya yung kilala talaga. Alangan naman pag-usapan namin yung gabing yon.

"Race. I have something to confess." a serious look in his face.

Don't tell me...

"I already know. I already got that feeling na ikaw yon." Race said.

I was trying to understand what he just said.

Does he mean nakakuha na siya ng idea kanina sa mga sinabi ko?

"Thankfully, you never flirted back with her." Race said and looked at me.

I was faking a smile.

"Are you ready to win the challenges that will be given to you by his family?" Zarijel asked.

He's always the one who would always state what are the possibilities. Maybe that's why they lasted.

"This time, I'll be ready." I said while flipping my hair.

They all clapped hands and were laughing.

"I don't have problems with his cousins, but with his parents and his sister. They are all so.." I didn't finished my sentence.

I would've badmouthed her mom infront of him.

After that dinner, we all went back to our respective home.

"You don't need their approval." he suddenly said.

He was getting something from his pocket.

"Even the shiniest diamond could never outdo how you shine. I may have been a coward back then. But, this time I'll make sure that there will be no one who can stand against us..." he opened the box.

It was a diamond ring that are really shining.

"Abby Dale Rosales, can you change your surname already to Chua?" he asked. He is proposing?!

HE IS PROPOSING.

OMG.

"I would galdly change my surname." I said and hugged him.
