EPILOGUE

We ran away.

I know it's not the right thing, but making his parents realize how much we love each other. Maybe, they'll be able to accept us.

"Shouldn't we go home already, babi?" I asked him. Baka imbes n makumbinsi sila ay mas lalong sumama tingin nila sakin.

"I don't like to see them hurting you." he said while kissing my arms.

But, still they are his parents. I treasure the permission of the parents. My parents don't have any say about my life. As long as I am happy.

"I think it's better to finally face them." I told him. He smiled at me and nodded.

We arrived at their house. The last time I went here was when I was invited to dinner. It's been so long.

"Huwag kang mag-alala, hindi ko hahayaan na saktan ka nila ulit. Di na ako aalis sa tabi mo." sabi niya at hinawakan ang kamay ko bago pumasok.

The first thing I saw was their table. Full of food.

His father.

His mother.

still at her poker face.

Her sister is not here.

"Where's your sister?" I asked.

"Already working in our company." he said and offered me a seat.

They are watching me as I sit down. This is quite embarrassing.

"Good morning po, Mr. and Mrs. Chua. Nice to meet you po again." I smiled at them. Trying my best to change their impression.

"Ma, Pa, once again. This is Abby, the only love of my life." he introduced me...again.

"Of course, who'll forget when you were so crazy about her." his father said and laughed.

"Jinho, stop saying those things. Hija, I'm sorry for belittling you back then. I know I was wrong for judging you. But, please do understand that I only want what's best for my son." she said at me. Still with that poker face.

"It's okay po, matagal ko na pong kinalimutan iyon." I said.

So, it's all set. Now, we are preparing for the wedding. It's a beach wedding.

And of course, my most active bestie is the one who's fixing everything.

It's after how many years, we are now finally able to continue the story that was cutted.

Ceo is here with us, helping Race to choose the best suits. But, it looks like his here to stare at Dice. Hindi naman halata na gusto niya parin si Dice. He never got his eyes off her.

"Ceo, baka matunaw." pang-aasar ko sa kanya.

Napa "tss" lang siyq at umiling.
