I was awake before my eyes opened

I was awake before my eyes opened.

The first thing I noticed was that my head hurt like hell. I couldn't quite recall the events of last night, but I remember taking a few shots.

I shifted in bed until I felt a heavy blanket on top of me. Did I have a weighted blanket?

My pillow felt hard too. What was going on?

I forced my eyes open, already wincing from the minimal light that rained down into my room. My curtains were closed and no lights were on, but it was still too bright for my pounding head.

I looked around until I saw-

No.

Oh, for fucks sake.

My head rested on a rather nice-looking set of abs and two arms were wrapped around me. My legs were intertwined with another pair.

I knew who this was, but I didn't want to admit it.

I slowly shrugged him off of me, turning over to the other side of the bed. Problem was, we were in the middle of the bed and there wasn't much room left on either side.

I was too drowsy and my head hurt too badly for me to get up, so I just poked him. Again. And again.

He didn't even move. He was out.

So I decided to go with option two.

I slammed a pillow on his head and he finally sputtered awake. The temporary pound of the blood rushing to my head was worth the look on his face.

"Alaska, what the fuck?" he mumbled. His morning voice sent shivers down my back but I ignored them.

"Get up," I said, pushing him one last time before slowly laying my head back on the pillow.

Rowen groaned. "Too... tired."

"Get your lazy ass up, Hendrix."

He opened his eyes and pouted at me. "I had to take care of your drunk ass yesterday. Leave me alone."

"Sucks for you, but now you have to deal with my hungover ass. Fetch me some water?"

He shot daggers at me with his eyes. From the proximity of our heads on the pillows, his lashes were incredibly long, framing beautiful eyes.

I looked away. Beautiful, really?

"Not if you're being rude, I won't," he answered.

I sighed. "Elian needs us on set today. Do you know what fit he'll have if I can't make it?"

Rowen sat up and I was greeted to the luxurious view of his toned stomach. He stretched his arms, muscles flexing, and goddamn, what a snack-

Shut up, Alaska.
