Background story:
Your being abused by your alcohol addicted father. You always cover your bruises up with make up and clothes. One day it's raining on set and your make up run down your face and when flinch at Scarlett it all makes sense.
You start your day making yourself a cup of coffee and putting on your make up to cover up your black eye. You take the train to set and arrive to see a happy Scarlett. Your both met by the director and he explains your day.
Director: okay so there will be a scene in a lake so prepare yourself because it wil be cold.
Okay you think in yourself. Just keep your head above water and nothing wil happen.
Director: okay let's go to location!
You arrive at the lake and your doing a scene where you and scar have to crawl out of the lake. You get into the cold lake with her and it starts raining. Shit
Director: oh rain that's great! Good special effect!
Scar looks at your worried face
Scar: you okay?
You: yeah
Director: ACTION!!
You both crawl out of the lake and drop yourself on the small beach
Director: CUT! That was great! Where gonna do it one more time just to make sure.
Scarlett nods and looks at you and sees your black eye with make running down from it.
Scar: y/n honey what happened to your eye. She says as she slowly grabs your chin to take a better look
You: oh I uhhh I fell. I'm clumsy haha
Scar: oh okay then..
You get back to the lake and do you scene. After that you both get in towels and thick warm blankets to get warm and your put your make up back up again. You both go to the cafeteria to lunch. Its just you and her in there. You wanted to grab a glass of water when you accidentally drop the glass and it breaks on the floor. Scar gets up worried and sees your not wearing shoes
Scar: y/n STAND STILL!
Your scared because you know what your dad would do in this situation. Your get flashback of your dad hurting you.
Scarlett goes to you with shoes wanting to pick you up to a safer place. She goes to grab you but you flinch. You take a step back out of fear and stand in the sharp glass. From the pain you lose balance and fall in it.
Scar: Y/N!!! Don't move I'm going to help you!!
You realize it's just Scarlett and that you just had a flashback.
You: Scarlett??
Scar: im going to pick you up okay?
You nod
Scar picks you up and sits you back down on the couch.
Scar: where does it hurt??
You look at you bloody hands and feed.
Scarlett slowly takes of your socks to reveal bloody feed.
Scar: oh honey.. I'm going to find a first aid kid okay?
You nod.
Scarlett comes back and takes the glass out and wraps your feed and hands to protect them from dirt. When she's done she goes to sit next to you on the couch and wraps a arm around you.
Scar: is anyone hurting you honey?
You: ...... w-what?
Scar: the bruises, the fear when someone comes close to you.
Scar: y/n is your dad abusing you?
You nod
Scar: oh honey
You start to cry in her arms and she strokes your head and back.
Scar: shh it's okay. Your okay. Where going to fix this i promise. Your not going back there.
You: please don't get him in trouble.
Scar: what? Why not. You don't want him punished?
You: my mom died 4 months ago. He took it hard. He's taking it out on me but it's just grief.
Scar: honey...
You: please don't I'm begging you
Scar: okay honey. But your going home with me tonight okay?
You: okay.
Scar: I love you kiddo
Your: I love you scar
