"Oh shit it's already 4 pm , no no my dad is going to kill me!" You say panicking and grabbing your stuff.

You and rose where making homework when you completely forgot the time.

"Chil y/n, you'll be fine okay?"
"No rose, you wouldn't understand"
"Wait for real??, what aren't you telling me y/n?"
"Nothing, just... just forget I said anything"
"Wait y/n, your scaring me"
"Rose dont"
"Tell me! I won't tell anyone"
"All I can say is that my dad gets mad when I'm late"
"Mad?"
"Rose"
"Y/n please sit down"
"I really have to go" you say rushing away. Rose runs after you and grabs your wrist.
"WHAT?!"
"Y/N TELL ME! "
"HE HITS ME!" You say shocked that you actually said it.
"I-I'm sorry for yelling I-i have to go" you say running away.

Rose just stands on the side walk for about 5 minutes in shock when Scarlett comes running out the house.

"Rose? What's wrong?? Why are you standing here all alone?"
"N-nothing" she says and walks passed her mom to her room crying.

The next two days you didn't show up to school. Rose feels scared for you life and doesn't know what to do.

Rose walks into the living room and sees a angry cosmo sitting on the couch.

"What happened to you?"
Scarlett walks up to them but rose doesn't realize

"I hate my mom! I have to go to bed early for A WHOLE WEEK!"
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? DONT YOU KNOW HOW LUCKY WE ARE? SOME KIDS HAVE IT WAY WORSE THAN US!"
"Rose hey slow down, where is this all coming from"
"No mom, don't" rose says and again she runs up to her room.

1 hour later there is a knock on roses door.
"Rose?"
Scarlett doesn't get a respond so she just walks in. She sees rose laying down on her bed.

"Rose talk to me, what is going on?"
"I promised not to tell anyone"
"You can tell me, I'm your mother"
Rose sighs
"Big deal he has to go to bed early, some kids get punished way worse then that"
"What made you think like that honey?"
"Im worried about y/n mom. She told me that her dad hits her. And she freaks out when she messes something up. And two days ago when she was here, she freaked out because she was late and now she hasn't been showing up for 2 days. I'm afraid something happened mom"
Scarlett sighs

"Okay, I have to call child services and then we-"
"NO! Mom I promised I wouldn't tell anybody"
"Rose, do you understand that this is for y/n's safety? You want her to be safe right?"
"Y-yeah but- I don't-"
"You trust me right?"
"Yes"
"I'll do the right thing okay?"
They hug eachother
"She's my best friend mom" rose cry's in her mothers arms
"Shhhh" Scarlett strokes her head and calms her.

3 days later a police car pulls up infront of the house and rose watches the situation from out her room trough the window. Scarlett walks to one of the cops and seems to have a normal conversation,

Scarlett's POv:
I walk out the house to one of the cops to find out what this is all about. Soon enough I realized this is about y/n.

"We looked into her case and her father is arrested for child abuse. He wil be in jail for the next 10 years or so."
"What wil happen to y/n now?"
"She has no family to stay with so she wil be send to an orphanage."
"C-can't she stay with me?" Scarlett asks
"I need you to understand that the girl is traumatized and scared, she can't afford to Have a temporary house right now."
"Il take her in, f-for ever"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes"
"We would like to take you to the police office? She's located there"
"Yeah il come just let me grab my purse"
Scarlett walks inside and grabs her stuf when she's met by rose.
