There You where again, in the principal office.
Waiting for your parents to pick you up. When three people walked in. It was way passed school time, who else would be at school this time? You thought

"And this is the principal office, and ofcourse, y/n"
You look up and smile at the two women with one of the head teachers.
They smile and look confused back,
"Oh you will get to know her if you hang around for a week, y/n here, likes to hang around at school"
She says putting a hand on your shoulder.
You just look down

"Oh y/n, this is Scarlett and Florence, they are actresses and joined a program to teach you kids about the filming jobs"
You again smile.

The rest of the week you see the two women around much, but since your not much of a talker you never got to know them.

again you end up doing your home work in the principal office.
"Im going to print some papers okay?"
You nod at the principal who's looking after you.

After she left Two woman walked in.
"Oh sorry, we didn't know you where working, do you mind? We can leave if you want?"
"It's okay, I like company" you say turning your attention back to your work.

The principal comes back in.
"Ah you've met!"
But when she takes a look at you, she sees that you have your noise canceling earbuds in
"Oh well, she's not really talking" Scarlett says
"No, she has her noise canceling buds in, she can't hear us" the principal says
"Can I ask something?" Scarlett asks
"Yes ofcourse"
"Why is she here? Like- this late"
"Oh, wel, her parents, they. They never pick her up. So she stays here until I'm done and I drop her of at home. We've talked about it with her parents, but they seem to be careless about her." The principal says with empathy
"That's horrible" Florence says
"B-but what is going to happen with her?, you can't just send her home. I mean- is it even safe at her home?"
"We don't know, but we are trying everything we can do"
"Ofcourse, I just mean, no child should have to live like this" Scarlett tells the women.
"I know" the principal says.

30 minutes later,
"Y/n? Y/n! Y/N HELLO?!!" The principal says waving her hand infront of your face
"Oh sorry, what did you say?"
"It's time to go home"
"Oh" was all what got out of your mouth.
You walk out of her office when the principal is packing her stuf, your not looking at where your walking when you walk into Scarlett, making you fall back.

"Oh god! Sorry, I'm so sorry!" You immediately say worried
"No worries" Scarlett goes to grab your hand to help you up, but is stopped by you closing your eyes and covering your face with your arms, revealing blue and black bruises all over your arm your trying to protect yourself with.

When you realize she wasn't going to hurt you, your eyes widen, realizing what you just show her. You quickly get up and the principal walks in.

"Okay! Let's go!" She says. You quickly walk with her avoiding eye contact .

"No wait!" Scarlett screams trough the hallway. You two stop.

"Y/n shouldn't-" she stops her sentence seeing you trying to sign her not to tell her
"Y/n shouldn't? What?" The principal asks
"Y/n shouldn't- uhhh, shouldn't forget this!" She says improvising . She grabs a card with her phone number out her pocket and hands it to you. You mouth her thank you, before leaving the school.

You get home to your usual, your dad drunk, yelling, screaming.... Hitting.

But today was different, today you already felt weak. You've been feeling light headed all day. So trying to protect yourself, you decided to call the number Scarlett gave you.
