"No more tests"

Backstory:
You are 10 years old and tony adopts you so he can examine you because you can move things with your mind. A part of the team (Natasha, Wanda, yelena, Clint and Steve) feel sorry for you because tony is cheating you out of your childhood like the rest of the people that have owned you. But no one knows how to help you because you don't really talk

You where sitting down playing chess against yourself. You would move the black pieces with your hands and the white pieces with your mind

"It looks like she's playing with a ghost" yelena says to nat
"It's pretty sad to be honest" nat reply's

Nat gets up and walks closer to you. You don't look up and continue to play until nat picks up one of the pieces flying trough the air that you are trying to move. You look up and look directly in her eyes with confusion.

"Hey y/n, can you teach me? I would like to play with you"

You get up and place you hand on her head, she grabs your hand of her head but you look at her so she lets go. You again place your hand on her head and suddenly she gets flashes of every chess rule that exists. When you pull your hand back you stumble and fall on the floor passed out.

Yelena gets up to help you while nat just Sits there
"Y/n!, hey are you okay? Look at me come on wake up! Nat what are you doing? DO SOMETHING?"

Nat gets up and lifts you of the floor, she lays you down on the couch.
"Yelena get some water"
Yelena goes away.

Natasha strokes you cheek
"Y/n? Honey can you hear me?"
You slowly open your eyes and look at her. Yelena gets back with the water
"Here" she hands you the water

"Y/n what just happened honey?" Nat asks Knowing that you probably won't respond but she was wrong

"Do you know how to play now? Did it work?"
"It did honey, that was very impressive, but you have to be careful okay? If tony finds out he wil test on you even more"

You look down.
"I'm sorry" you whisper
"I know honey, it's okay" nat says

"Wait I'm confused, what happened?" Yelena asks
"I don't know, she put her hand on my head and then flashes of rules came trough, and now I know everything I need to know to play chess"

"Wow" yelena says "that's so cool" she laughs

Later in the night you are all asleep, but you got woken up by tony.

"Y/n let's go! I heard the conversation, I know what you can do so we are going to do some tests"

"NO!" You say, this was the first time tony heard you speak
"What?, come on!" He pulls you out of bed and Carry's you away until you start screaming

"NATASHA!! NAT PLEASE HELP MEE. YELENA! HELP SOMEONE PLEASE!"
You say starting to cry. Natasha and yelena come running out of their room and see the situation

"Tony what the hell are you doing, you hurting her let her go!" Yelena says
"Tony she's crying let her be!"

"Oh come on! If I didn't adopt her she'd still be at hydra, atleast she doesn't live in a cell now!"

"TONY WTF LET HER GO!"
Natasha gets over to him and pulls you away from his arms and carry's you to the couch while yelena holds him back

"GO TO HELL TONY" yelena yells and eventually he leaves.

Natasha puts you down on the couch but you just fall into her arms crying

"Hey shhh your okay now, he's gone okay? Your safe" Natasha says while stroking your head and back and giving yelena a worried look.

After 5 more minutes of crying you have calmed down and Natasha asks you a question

"No one ever said you where with hydra honey"
"I wasn't with them, they took me, there's a different. But I swear I've never hurt anyone innocent."

"Have you heard bad people?" Yelena asked

You look down
"Only because they wanted to hurt my mama, I wanted to protect her, but I couldn't."
Natasha rubs your back.

"I don't know why you would comfort me, I can literally kill you in a second without any gun"

"But you didn't, and you won't. The fact that you didn't hurt tony, even tho you are much stronger gives me enough trust I need okay?" Yelena says

"Do you want to sleep in my room honey?" Nat asks you
You nod
"Okay let's go"
You and nat get up and leave to her room. After 5 minutes you fall asleep in her arms.

Next morning.

You and nat are playing chess together and the whole team is watching and cheering you on. That is until tony walks into the room.

"Let's go y/n, enough of this. We need to do some tests"

He tries to grab you but he can't move his hand

"What the he-"
Before he knows he is in his room with the door locked.

"HEY LET ME OUT OF HERE"
You walk up to the door and talk to him

"No more tests"
You say
"SINCE WHEN CAN YOU TELEPORT PEOPLE?"
"I was born with it, you should've known that with all those tests" you say

"I liked you better when you didn't talk"
" I never liked you so that's okay" you say and walk back to the team and to the chess game. Everyone bursts into laughter and you do two.

"Nice to know someone set him back in his place" Steve says
