Backstory:
You are in school and nat doesn't agree until she does? ;)
You yet again get home exhausted, you change into workout clothes and meet nat in the training room. You look tired and out of it.
"You ready?"
"Yeah" you sign."
And you begin to fight nat. She punches you a few times and you are to tired to block them. She stops for a second to look at you because your not on your level. You stumble back and lose your balance and fall on the ground.
"Wow are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah I'm totally fine"
"Why are you so tired"
"Just got home from school"
"You go to school?"
"Yeah"
"Since when"
"Since a week ago, but just because tony makes me"
"Are you okay?"
"I- n-no. It's to much nat. I'm just out of the red room. I'm still dealing with separating reality with illusion and I'm honestly just not great mentally. And now tony puts me in school. I hate it"
"I wil talk to him okay hun?"
"Thank you nat"
"You should go to bed, can you get up"
You nod and walk out the room
When you get in your room you fall asleep.
Back to nat.
Nat knocks on Tony's lap door.
"Come in"
"You put her in school?!"
"Yeah"
"Tony YOU CANT DO THAT"
"And why so?"
"Do it need to repeat the things she's been trough and going trough? She doesn't even know what is real and fake because of the mind control and you want to put her in a room of mean teenager"
"She's a child nat, it's a rule."
"The second she was put in the red room she stopped being a child tony"
"Natasha she has to go to school, she needs to learn social skills and be like the rest of her age"
"I'm sorry but as far as I know her age isn't trained to kill. They weren't tortured and abused. She has no childhood tony"
"THATS WHAT IM TRYING TO GIVE HER"
"How is school going to help her with that?"
"Distraction, friends and grades. She need to learn that her life is going to change"
"But tony, she told me its to much."
"That's what she needs nat, please just trust me"
"Il give you 1 week to show me that school won't break the girl even more"
"Deal"
2 days later:
You wake up and get dressed. You eat breakfast.
"Hey honey" nat says
"Hey"
"I'm bringing you to school today okay?"
"Sure"
10 minutes later you get in the car.
"I don't want to nat"
"I know, just a few more days okay?"
"I don't feel good"
" what do you mean y/n?"
"I don't know, I have a weird feeling"
"Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah"
You get out the car and two girls and a boy walk up to you
"Hey y/n!" they say
"Hi!, bye nat, thank you!"
"By honey!" Nat smiles. She rides home with a Smile on her face because you finally made friends.
Nat later on picks you up. You get in the car. And you begin to cry
"Hey, whoa whoa what's wrong honey"
"I don't feel good nat"
"What's wrong honey, can you describe it to me? Are you nauseous or dizzy?"
"N-no I dont know. Wel yes I- both I don't know. I'm scared nat" you say crying.
"Hey hey, no your okay, we're going to Bruce okay?"
You just cry and freak out
"Honey breathe okay, we are almost home. Just breathe. Come on hang on"
You arrive home and you get out the car. You continue crying while you walk trough the compound while holding on nats hand. You arrive at Bruce's lap
"BRUCE?!"
"I'm here what- oh what's wrong y/n"
"You need to look at her Bruce, she's sick."
You lay down and Bruce does a lot of test on you but nothing comes out positive.
"Y/n can you describe it for me?"
"I- I feel weak, like I'm as light as feather. A-and I have this weird feeling right in my stomach,"
Realization comes flushing into Bruce
"Y/n honey, did you make friends today?"
You nod
"I'm going to get nat"
Bruce comes back with nat.
"What's wrong with her Bruce?"
"Nothing" he says
"What?" Nat asks
"Nat she's happy, she her body didn't recognize the feeling of being happy. She got scared. That made it worse"
"Oh" nat responds
"I'm just h-happy?" You ask confused
Bruce nods
"But I thought happy was positive"
"I is honey"
" it didn't feel good" you' say
"It wil, once you get used to it" nat says
" I'm sorry" you say
"For what honey?"
" it's stupid"
"It's not honey, you have to learn new things"
She kisses your head
When the week is over.
"Y/n do you want to continue school?" Tony asks
"Y-yeah, if that's okay?"
"Ofcourse it is honey." Nat says.
2 years later you are one of the most popular people at your school (for good reasons only :)) and you have straight A's you are happy and have amazing friends. You finally understand the meaning of life
