"They wouldn't care"

⚠️tw: passing out/ harsh parents⚠️

Backstory:
Its a hot summer day while filming a new marvel movie and because of the heat you pass out, Scarlett tries contacting you parents but it doesn't go as aspected

Ive just finished shooting my scene and I decided to go to my trailer to get myself to cool down. Its super hot and my head hurts a bit. I stepped inside and my legs gave in. I wasn't completely passed out but I felt like I was going to. Knowing that Scarlett has a break to I called her.

Scarlett: hello y/n?
You: can you come
Scarlett: what? Why? are you okay?
You: I think I'm gonna pass out
Scarlett: I'm coming

With that Scarlett hangs up and gets to your trailer. In the mean time you lay on the floor trying to fight the black spots forming in your eyes.

Scarlett knocks on the door but you can't find the energy to say anything.
Scarlett: y/n im coming in

Scarlett sees the 14 year old all sweaty and as white as a ghost, fighting to keep her eyes open

Scarlett: oh honey,
She sits on the ground next to you on her knees. Stroking your hair out of your face

Scarlett: honey, can you hear me
You nod
Scarlett: is it okay if I call the medics
You nod again
Scarlett gets up but bends down again
Scarlett: can I maybe call Chris with my phone? I don't want you to be alone

You don't respond this time what tells Scarlett enough.

Chris: hey scar, what's up? I'm in the middle of filming
Scarlett: i need you to send the medics to y/n's trailer, she on the edge of passing out
Chris: oh god yeah I will

In the mean time your eyes keep closing
Scarlett: y/n honey just keep your eyes open for me okay? Just a few minutes.

2 minutes later medics arrive they work on you and Scarlett has put you to bed.
You are passed out asleep and Scarlett try's to contact your parents but neither of them pick up.

50 minutes later you wake up
Scarlett: oh come on!!! Pick up!!
You: Scarlett?
Scarlett: y/n? How are you feeling?
You: my head hurts, but I'm fine.
I don't go good on warm weather
Scarlett: yeah I gathered that
You both giggle
Scarlett: I tried to contact your parents but neither of them picked up, can I try your phone?
You: you can try but they won't care.
You give Scarlett your phone
Scarlett walks outside and your mom picks up, finally

Your mom (y/m): hello?
Scarlett: hi? Is this y/n's mom?
Y/m: what has she done  now?
Scarlett: oh she didn't do anything wrong, she just passed out and I was wondering if you could come pick her up
Y/m: she can take the train, she'll be just fine
Scarlett: I dont think you understand, she lost consciousness. For a good 45 minutes, she can't walk
Y/m: oh she's such a baby, she'll walk to the train and get her ass home, or she can go anywhere else i don't care
Scarlett: excuse me?
Y/m: I'm telling you that girl is just playing you, she a liar and a piece of shit. You don't want to care for her she exhausting.
Scarlett: you don't deserve to be a mother, now if you'll excuse me I'm going to take care of a child I care very much for and bring her to a safe loving home what won't be yours, goodbye.

And she hangs up the phone

Scarlett walks back to you again. She sits next to your bed stroking your head. Blowing on your face to cool you down
You: she's just like that
Scarlett: she doesn't deserve you honey.
You: I know
You say as you look down
Scarlett: do you want to go back to my place? 
You nod
Scarlett: can you sit up or walk??
You try and sit up
You: everything goes black again.
Scarlett gets a glass of water and pours a bit of water in your mouth.
Scarlett: can I carry you?
You nod
Scarlett picks you up and carries you to her car, she gets you in her car and you drive to her place.

When you get there Scarlett sees you are falling asleep. She  Carries you to her bedroom and tucks you in. She goes into the bathroom and change into some comfy clothes. She gets in the bed next to you and pulls you into her side. You cuddle into her shoulder and she strokes your head and blows your face.

Scarlett: il take care of you, always.
I love you y/n
You (very sleepy and out of it): I love you mom
Scarlett smiles at your words and kisses your head.
Scarlett: now you rest. Goodnight honey

You fall asleep and Scarlett admires you for 20 minutes until she to falls asleep.
