He was outside the window, peaking inside, leaning there casually and enjoying the sight of me being bewildered.
Behind me was the same man, but the mask was different. It took me all my strength to compose myself and not laugh at his face. That wouldn't make me any less of a psycho. His mask was still distorted, but it looked like he was teasing me by sticking his tongue at me, or more like he drank too much whiskey and was wasted by then.
"WAZZZZZZZZUPPPP!"
"Step any closer and I am hauling my ass to the exit which is right behind me." I warned.
"What exit?" he asked, "I see no exit."
"Behind me...what?" I was sure the door was right there, but now it was all but a wall.
"You're trapped girly."
I just decided to run around and search for the window that wasn't locked, or concealed by iron bars. The only one that looked like my only escape was covered by Ghostface.
"Honey~" He mused, "I am home~"
"Say that to your wife."
"I am alone," He faked a sad tone, "Will you marry me?"
"No!"
"WHYYYYY?"
"I love somebody else."
"David?"
"...Maybe." I was almost about to throw up at the thought of seeing David. He was a fine lad, but not my choice. I would rather become a nun than date him.
"You know what," He said, jumping in front of me, unmasked by now, "Ditch him and marry me. We'll make a fine couple I guess. You already like staying here."
"What makes you think that," I took the stance, ready to bet my chances and jump out of any window in view.
"You got a sense of humor, I got a sense of humor. You like photography, I have a liking for cameras as well."
"That ain't sufficient to say it will work out."
"You got to sleep in a comfy bed for free."
I was almost tempted to think about the offer, just for a bed to sleep in, but him giving me those bedroom eyes changed my mind...
"No."
"But I-"
"No! You go up and sleep. I am sure you are drunk. Keep it neutral, and I will forget that you ever asked me to marry you, tried to get me in bed with you, or that you called me honey or darling."
"Why, Love, the camer-"
"Take that damn camera and shove it up your ass! I didn't break it. It is hard, it had definitely fallen down at some point and already broken."
"It could, by the way, like it when you talk dirty."
Before he could advance towards me, I threw my only form of defense at him. My beloved camera. As much as my heart ached at the sight, I was a little relieved to watch him throw his knife away and catch my camera. He was shocked, visibly.
"Girl, you have a knack for throwing precious stuff at people, I can't have you in the kitchen or my office in a bad mood, that shit's expensive as-ooooh baby~" He started examining my camera, "This shit's lit, imma keep it."
"Eh?"
"You owe me both rent and money for a broken camera. I'm keeping this." he said, waving my camera at my face.
"Keep it!" I said, "Keep it all. I got batteries too."
"...that was easy."
"Keep the camera and let me go."
