SKYLER WILSON

My head reared back slightly after a while of focusing on the report that one of my board members is discussing. My brow furrowed in annoyance as I review the dealership's operating results from a month ago.  The sales decrease substantially in just a span of fifteen days. There are many orders that have been canceled, and the supply shortage report is fluctuating but we haven't received any updates on our orders.

I clasped my hand together and eye the financial head whose face turns pale upon meeting my intense glare. He was quick to divert his eyes on the either side of his face to avoid my menacing gape. My jaw clamped close, trying my best not to scowl loudly and frightened the board.

“Didn't I ask you to send me the monthly report so I could review it?”

He swallowed hardly before speaking, “E-engineer . . . I was about to tell you that once we get updates on the purchased car parts. I'm sorry, I didn't realize it had already made such a dent."

“Was about? I didn’t fucking hire you to make decisions yourself. I appointed you to provide me with information and plans on what we're supposed to do in such situation as this. And didn’t you get the deal closed for the purchased of car parts with the Arcenas? Bakit hanggang ngayon wala parin? It’s been fucking a month!” I scowled, unconcerned about how they flinch as my voice roared around the corner of the room we're at.

I've set the month of this year as the starting point for the production of a new car. The carmakers are not even half of the process having only completed the stamping, and supposedly, welding the exterior of the vehicle should have begun by now, but the purchased car parts are still somewhere on the ocean and continue to be delayed. How am I supposed to keep my fucking calm when the schedule’s not working as it supposed to be?

“Then just get a refund! We have a fucking quota!”

That was company’s funds we’re talking to, and I will only be given a fucking irresponsible answer? This is obviously a sham, for goodness sake. Hindi ba nag-iisip ang taong ito?

“You fucking make sure to fix this goddamn problem!

His face turns pale, but he nods abruptly, like a fucking scared cat as he should be because I will never think twice of firing him if this gets worse.

“How’s the car testing of the prototypes?”

“M-maayos po, Engineer. The team has already conducted crash tests to evaluate the car's quality and performance, and feedback has been very positive in terms of safety and dependability. We have already worked out all of the kinks and potential issues that may arise in the future but we still need a month or two for final inspection of the product before we go into production.”
