The room is equipped with a large screen for presentations and a long table where the team members are gathered. Nasa likod kaming mga interns at parang mababait na batang hinihintay magsimula ang meeting.

I sip on my cup of coffee and smile after tasting its sweetness. Sinabi kong hindi ako mahilig sa kape na totoo naman, pero noong nakaraan na ako ginawang taga ubos ni Kysler ng mga pinabibili niyang kape ay pakiramdam ko ay naging energy booster ko na rin ito. Hindi ko naman alam na nakakaadik pala ang kape kaya kahit gusto kong ibuhos ito sa kanilang dalawa nung babaeng kasama niya kanina ay hindi ko ginawa.

I was so good at faking my smile that the woman didn’t even think that I had some evil thoughts for both of them. My eyes found him. Muling nagtama ang mga mata namin pero hindi ako nag-iwas. It wasn’t hard for me to distinguish his presence among the crowd. Kahit alam kong bigating mga tao rin ang kaharap namin ay nangibabaw talaga siya sa lahat. His dominating aura is evident in the power he holds. If there’s one thing I’m certain about him, it’s his dominance that always made me cave and . . . give in.

They find their seat and everybody in the room settled themselves. Tumahimik ang paligid at tanging ingay lang ng aircon ang naririnig. I don’t know if it is because of his presence or if this is just a normal situation every time they’re having a meeting.

Kysler cleared his throat before acknowledging everyone’s presence and giving a brief introduction to what the meeting was all about. Hinawakan niya ang folder na nasa unahan ng table niya at binuklat iyon bago muling nagsalita.

“Let’s start with the design updates.”

One of the members stands from her seat and starts sharing her screen. Doon ko pinokus ang paningin ko at matamang nakinig. On the screen, there’s a sleek visualization of the vehicle's exterior and interior displaying.

“As everyone can notice, it was different from the one we’d presented weeks ago.  We've made refinements to the chassis design based on the simulations. The new design not only improves aerodynamics but also allows for better battery placement.”

“How's the software development coming along?”

“We've integrated the battery management system with the infotainment system to enable real-time monitoring of battery status and energy consumption. Our goal is to optimize energy usage while providing users with accurate information.”

She showcases the software interface, demonstrating how the driver can access battery-related data on the vehicle's dashboard.

As the meeting continued, I made sure to jot down the information they were discussing. May mga terminologies akong hindi alam kaya yung iba ay ginuguhitan ko para iresearch mamaya.

The meeting continues as the team discusses technical challenges, potential solutions, and upcoming milestones.

Minsan ay nagkakaroon ng conflict at may mga pros at cons na nag a-arise sa tuwing nagbibigayan sila ng opinyon. Kapag ganoon ay napapansin kong si Kysler palagi ang umaayos at nasa kanya ang huling desisyon. He was weighing everything smoothly until everyone’s contributions aligned.
