CHAPTER 16

NAPANSIN ni Levi na panay ang tingin sa kaniya ni Dr. Reed. Napag-alaman niya kanina na ito ang Council ng Greyson Golden Pack. At ang Head Director ng Greyson's Hospital. Hindi niya maintindihan pero base sa tingin nito ay parang kilala siya nito.

Nasa living room silang lahat at nagmemeryenda. Magkatabi sila ni Lorenzo sa gilid ng mahabang sofa habang si Giovanni ay nakaupo sa pang-isahang sofa at umiinom ng juice. Si Queen Serenity naman ay nakaupo sa armrest ng sofa na kinauupuan ni King Connor. Dr. Reed was sitting on the sofa opposite to them. While the others are sitting to the long sofa. Alessandro and Rocco are sitting at the floor and eating.

Siniko ni Levi si Lorenzo kaya napatingin ito sa kaniya. "I'm not comfortable." Aniya.

"Why?" Lorenzo asked in low voice.

Kinuha ni Levi ang sariling cellphone at nag-type doon saka pinabasa kay Lorenzo. 'Dr. Reed is looking at me. I don't know why but I feel uncomfortable all of sudden.'

Tumikhim si Lorenzo kaya napunta rito ang atensiyon ng lahat.

"Dr. Reed, don't make my mate uncomfortable. Stop staring at him." Ani Lorenzo. And he continued eating cupcake.

"I'm sorry." Dr. Reed apologized. "May kamukha ka kasi," dagdag niya habang nakatingin kay Levi.

Tumango si Levi at sumandal sa likuran ng sofa.

"So, how are they?" King Connor asked.

"Still nothing, Your Majesty. Still the same." Ani Dr. Reed.

Queen Serenity sighed. "The Moon Goddess told me about them. I know that there is something special about the man. The woman is human but somehow, she survived for being in coma for more than two decades." Aniya.

"Maybe because of the werewolf gene that was inside her body. She's maybe the mate of that man." Ani King Connor.

Dr. Reed and Queen Serenity sighed.

"When will they wake up?" Serenity asked.

"We don't know. But you said that there is special about the man, Your Majesty. May we know what is special about him?" tanong ni Hunter.

"The Moon Goddess told me that he's special. He's one of the rarest werewolves that exist in history and he's kind is already at the verge of extinction." Ani Queen Serenity.

"Other than he's a rogue, what is he?" tanong ni Rowan.

The oldies are talking while the young ones are just silently eating their snacks. Hindi naman sila pwedeng makialam dahil hindi naman nila alam ang pinag-uusapan ng mga magulang nila. Pati si Giovanni ay tahimik din.

Lorenzo leaned to Levi. "Amore mio."

"Hmm?"

"Let's go out, Amore mio."

Kumunot ang nuo ni Levi. "Saan naman tayo pupunta?"

Ngumisi si Lorenzo. "You'll know." Aniya.

"Lorenzo, huwag mo munang ialis rito si Levi. May sasabihin ako sa kaniya," sabi ni King Connor na ikinangisi ni Levi.

Lorenzo whined but didn't say anything. Humilig na lang siya kay Levi. Levi shrugged his shoulder to move away Lorenzo's head and he succeeded. Umayos siya ng upo at tumingin kay King Connor.

"Ano po 'yon?" tanong ni Levi.

King Connor smiled. "Let's talk in private." Tumayo si King Connor.

Nagtaka naman si Levi.
