CHAPTER 22

LEVI just arrived in Germany and he's on his way to meet the Alphas of different pack in Germany together with the Hunters of Wolf Hunters Organization in Germany. Kasama niya ang kanang kamay niyang si Pietro. Isa ito sa pinagkakatiwalaang tauhan ng kaniyang Daddy Stefano at magkalapit lang sila ng edad. Mas matanda nga lang ito sa kaniya.

Bigla na lang naramdaman ni Levi ang sakit sa likod niya pero kaagad din itong nawala kaya nagpatuloy sa paglalakad at hindi ito pinansin.

"Your Excellency, are you okay?" tanong ni Pietro. "I saw you winced in pain."

"I'm okay," sagot ni Levi. Kapagkuwan napatingin siya kay Pietro. "Are you good in reading emotions?" tanong niya.

Levi made sure that he didn't show any emotion of pain in his face. He indeed winced when he felt the pain earlier but that was fast and he didn't expect that Pietro saw it.

Pietro smiled. "Your Excellency, you're good at masking your emotions, right? You're showing to everyone that you are cold and indifferent but the truth behind that indifferent man is a warm and kind man."

Napailing si Levi. "You talk too much."

Ngumiti lang si Pietro at sumunod kay Levi. It's an honor for him to be the right-hand man of the highest leader of Wolf Hunters Organization. Many wanted this position but he's lucky that His Excellency picked him. He's honored.

Nang makarating si Levi at Pietro sa conference hall, may isang hunter ang nagbabantay roon at binuksan nito ang pinto para sa kanila pagkatapos nitong yumukod.

Levi took a deep breath and stepped inside the conference hall. He immediately saw the long table filled with many people. He can sense that at the left side of the table is the Hunters while at the right side is the Alphas. Sa isang dulo ng mesa ay ang isang lalaki na mukhang kaedad niya lang habang ang kabilang dulo ng mahabang lamesa ay bakante.

Tumayo ang ng nasa loob ng conference hall ng makita siya.

"Your Excellency."

Bahagya ring yumukod si Levi bilang pagrespesto sa mga ito.

While the Alphas and the Hunters felt the strong presence coming from the man whom they called 'Your Excellency'. This is the first time to see personally the Highest Leader of the Wolf Hunters Organization around the world and they felt honored to meet him in person. They knew that it's him because they saw his pictures a while ago.

But the Alphas sense the werewolf scent coming from the man who walked in. Everyone has a questioned in their mind. His Excellency is a werewolf?

"Your Excellency, I feel honored to meet you in person. I am Lukas Becker, the Leader of Hunters Organization in Germany." Pakilala ng lalaking nakaupo sa isang dulo ng mesa. Inilahad niya ang kamay para makipagkamay.

Tumango si Levi at tinanggap ang pakikipagkamay ni Leader Lukas. "Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Becker." Ani Levi.

Iminuwestra ni Lukas ang kamay sa upuan na nasa kabilang dulo ng lamesa. "Please have a seat, Your Excellency."

Hindi nagsalita si Levi pero naglakad siya patungo sa kabilang dulo ng mesa. Hinugot ito ni Pietro para sa kaniya bago siya umupo at nang makaupo siya nagsi-upuan na rin ang mga kasama niya.

Pasimpleng binilang ni Levi ang mg Alpha na humarap. There are ten of them. And the hunters had the same number.

He could feel the stares from the ten Alphas but he chose to ignore it and remained his cold and indifferent face.

"I received the mail from Leader Lukas two days ago. We have the same problem. But of course, I came here to resolve it."

"Your Excellency, the Rebel Hunters is attacking the pack here in Germany." Ani ng isang Alpha. "They are using silver weapons so we can't fight with them fairly."

Levi sighed. "I know. Most of the packs are having the same problem."

"But for the Rogues, we can defeat them. It's just that Rogues allied with the Rebel Hunters." Ani ng isang Alpha.

"Rogues are our common problems but Rebel Hunters," umiling ang isang Alpha, "I'm afraid that we can't defeat them," sabi pa ng isa ring Alpha.

Tumango si Levi at nakinig sa hinaing ng mga Alpha.

"We appreciate that the Hunters are helping us but still, when it comes to the Rebel Hunters, I don't want to admit but they could defeat us so easily."

"We don't have a problem when it comes to the alliances of werewolf society and the hunters. It's a big help actually but some of them are rebel now," sabi pa ng isang Alpha.

"Your Excellency, I already did the best that I could. But I can really address the problem about the Rebel Hunters. They're getting into my nerves now." Ani Leader Lukas.

Pinagsiklop ni Levi ang kamay at ipinatong ang siko sa mesa. Tinignan niya ang lahat. Nagkatinginan naman ang mga ito. Pasimple siyang humugot ng malalim na hininga. Being the highest leader of Hunters Organization is really a big responsibility. Good thing, he has a planned before coming here.

"I had a solution and this solution was already executed in Italy and Sicily"—lahat ay itinutok ang atensiyon kay Levi—"Leader Lukas, how many hunters do we have here in Germany?" he asked.

"One thousand and half, Your Excellency."

"Not bad," Levi said. "How many can a hunter kill in one battle?" he asked again.

"If he's skilled like you, Your Excellency. Maybe twenty to thirty."

Bahagyang tumaas ang kilay ni Levi. "Like me? What do you mean?" he asked.

Ngumiti si Lukas. "Your Excellency, your reputation has been heard around the world. Everyone wanted to be like you."

Levi was flattered but he didn't show it. Tumango siya. "Okay. Back to our topic. How many packs do we have here in Germany?"

"Ten packs, Your Excellency," sagot ng isang Alpha.

"Okay." Tumango si Levi. "Here is the solution. Leader Lukas, there are many hunters here in Germany. I would like you to assemble ten groups of hunters with fifty members each and assigned them to every pack. They will help the pack to eliminate Rebel Hunters and Rogues."

"Yes, Your Excellency. I'll do it immediately." Ani Lukas.

Lahat ay nasiyahan sa solusyon na ibinigay ni Levi.

Kumunot ang nuo ni Levi nang may maramdaman siyang kakaiba sa katawan niya. Parang may kung anong nararamdaman siyang tumutubo sa likod niya. Pinaghiwalay niya ang kamay niya at napahawak siya sa gilid ng mesa.

Napailing si Levi nang maramdaman niya ang pag-iinit ng katawan niya. "Damn..." he cussed under his breath.

Everyone thanked Levi and told him to rest.

Levi immediately went to the room that they readied for him. He locked the door and went in front of the mirror. Hinubad niya ang suot na damit. Nagulat siya nang makitang may mga balahibo ang tumubo sa katawan niya at kulay pilak pa ang mga ito.

He looked himself at the mirror and his eyes glowed.
