CHAPTER 27

LEVI run into the woods and looking to be enjoying everything that nature has to offer. Following Lorenzo behind and guiding him. They are on their wolf form and running around the forest. A silver and white wolf run together. Lorenzo was teaching Levi how to be familiar with his wolf and adapt the environment. Their eyes were glowing, meaning their wolf is in charge.

For the next whole hour, the two wolves just run and chase each other in the forest until they reach the lake and rested.

Levi deep down into the water and take a drink before sitting down. Umupo naman sa tabi niya si Lorenzo.

Lorenzo wanted to read his mate's mind but he seems to be blocked off. Levi already figured out how to block his thoughts.

Lorenzo just sighed and sat down beside his mate. Until Levi snuggled to him and licked his face. He did the same. He licked Levi's face and let out a wolfy grin. Until Levi playfully growled to him and attack him.

Mabilis na umiwas si Lorenzo at tumakbo palayo kay Levi.

And the chase started again by the two wolves.

Hapon na ng makauwi ang dalawa. Masyado silang nag-enjoy sa loob ng gubat. They went behind the trees and shifted, and get dress before they entered pack house. Magkahawak ng kamay na pumasok si Levi at Lorenzo sa loob ng pack house. Only when they entered the pack house, everyone was there.

Levi was frozen to see his Daddy Stefano inside the pack house. Nakaupo ito sa sofa at umiinom ng soda.

"D-dad..."

But even Levi saw his Daddy Stefano, hindi niya binitawan ang kamay ni Lorenzo na ikinahinga ni Lorenzo ng maluwang. Ibig sabihin ay hindi natatakot si Levi sa maaaring reaksiyon ng ama nito.

Lahat ng nasa living room ay natahimik.

Parang may dumaang anghel sa sobrang katahimikan.

Tumingin si Stefano kay Levi nang marinig niya ang boses nito. Kasama nito ang isang anak ni King Connor pero bumaba ang tingin niya sa kamay ng dalawa. Muntikan na niyang maibuga ng iniinom niyang soda nang makitang magkahawak ng kamay ang dalawa.

Nanlaki ang mata niya. "L-levi, w-what's the meaning of this?" gulat niyang tanong. Levi called him yesterday. Gusto siya nitong pumunta sa Greyson Golden Pack dahil may sasabihin itong importante. Is this the important he is talking about?

"Dad, me and Lorenzo, we're mates. I'm sorry. I disappointed you," Levi said. He looked into his Foster Father's eyes before he looked down. Ayaw niyang makita ang panghuhusga sa mga mata nito kung sakali man.

"Sir, if you don't accept us. Please, don't say anything bad to Levi. It was me who made the first move." Ani Lorenzo. Pinisil niya ang kamay ni Levi.

Walang umimik sa kanila. No one even dare to move. Lahat ay nakatingin lang sa isa't-isa.

Natatakot naman si Levi na tignan ang Foster Dad niya. He will do anything but he only wanted one thing. Acceptance. Iyon ang gusto niyang makuha sa Foster Dad niya.

Nang wala talagang umimik pagkalipas ng ilang minutong katahimikan, nagsalita si King Connor. "Stefano, I know that some people, for them, a same-sex relationship isn't easy to welcome but I only ask one thing from you, it doesn't matter if you accept Levi and Lorenzo's relationship or not. Please, don't say anything bad about them. If you don't accept them then that's fine. Just don't say bad things to them."

"Dad, I just want is your acceptance. I'm grateful to you for raising me and I'm indebted to you but if you will ask me to leave Lorenzo, I'm so sorry, Dad, but I won't do it. I love my mate. I love Lorenzo and leaving him is not an option," seryosong sabi ni Levi at humigpit ang hawak sa kamay ni Lorenzo.

Lorenzo smiled to Levi.

But Stefano still didn't say anything. So, this is it. Back in the hospital, their eyes...

Noong nasa hospital si Levi, napansin na niyang iba ang tingin ni Lorenzo kay Levi. Ngayon naiintindihan na niya. Natawa si Stefano saka napailing.

Nagkatinginan si Lorenzo at Levi.

"Do you think my father will snapped at me?" pabulong na tanong ni Levi.

"Honestly, I don't know, Amore mio." Ani Lorenzo. "Your father didn't say anything and it is scaring the hell out of me."

Tumaas ang kilay ni Levi. "Bakit? Ikaw lang ba ang natatakot? Ako din kaya."

Kapagkuwan napatingin sila kay Stefano nang magsalita ito. "I can't believe this. My son just...came out with me. Saying that he's with a man." Ani Stefano na parang ang sarili ang kinakausap.

Levi took a deep breath. "Dad, it's not a crime to be with a man," he said.

Tumayo si Stefano. Akala ni Levi ay aalis na ito but he said, "who said that being with a man is a crime? Tell me and I'll kill him."

"Ah?" Tumingin si Levi kay Lorenzo. Kapareho din niya ito ng ekspresyon sa mukha. Pareho silang nagtataka.

Stefano smiled. Naglakad siya palapit sa anak. "Just do your responsibility. I won't intervene with your private life."

That made Levi smiled and he felt at ease and couldn't help himself but to hug his foster father. "Thank you, Dad. Thank you."

Ngumiti si Stefano saka tinapik ang likod ng anak. "Anytime, son. I will always support you." Tumingin siya kay Prince Lorenzo. "Take care of him. If you hurt him, I'll kill you. Even if I'm old now, I can still load my gun and shoot you."

Tumango si Lorenzo at ngumiti. "Yes, Sir. Thank you for your acceptance, Sir. It means a lot to me."

"Call me 'dad'."

Levi smiled.

And Lorenzo said, "thank you, Dad."

Tinapik ni Stefano ang balikat ni Lorenzo. Tumingin siya kay Levi. "Coming out is important but what is the important thing you wanted to tell me. I bet this is not it?"

Levi sighed. "Dad, I shifted."

"Uh?" Nagtaka si Stefano. Kumunot ang noo niya. "Shifted?"

Tumango si Levi. "I shifted into a werewolf, Dad. My wolf is dormant in my body. Lorenzo's mark activated my wolf so I shifted few days ago." And he suffered for one month. Dr. Reed told him that what he suffered is actually a part of shifting, his body was readying himself in shifting.

"So, what now?" tanong ni Stefano.

"Do you know about silver wolf?" King Connor asked Stefano.

Natuon ang atensiyon ni Stefano kay King Connor. Tumango siya. "May kaibigan ako noon. He's a silver wolf."

"Where is he now?" tanong ni King Connor.

Umiling si Stefano. "I don't know. He and his wife disappeared together with their one years old son." Aniya. Bumalik siya sa pagkakaupo sa sofa.

Umupo naman si Lorenzo at Levi sa mahabang sofa.

"Dad, I'm a silver wolf."

"Oh, okay—wait. What?!" Nanlaki ang mata ni Stefano.

Tumango si Levi. "I'm a silver wolf, Dad."

"And we all know that silver wolf is already gone long time ago. Now, a silver wolf appeared." Ani King Connor.

Kumunot ang nuo ni Levi. "What about being a silver wolf, Dad?" he asked.

King Connor smiled. "It's time for you to know about silver wolf and everyone here, listen."
